About this house rental
Nestled in Canadice, this lovely house for $165 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. We seriously cannot say enough about just how wonderful you'll feel soaking in the hot tub sipping a glass of wine after a day exploring the finger lakes! Expect to see us working in the gardens or animal pens and playing in the field or star-gazing while having a campfire. We live in the heart of NY wine country just minutes from Naples and Honeoye, we are a perfect starting and ending point for a tour. With in minutes you can be hiking for waterfalls and gullies, boating, hunting, ski slopes, and cross-country trails. Your cottage boasts a bright family room with an attached kitchen and a master bedroom/bath suite downstairs. And a loft bedroom/reading nook/bathroom with a separate balcony/entrance upstairs. We expect you to want your privacy but we are always happy to chat, or offer area recommendations over a community campfire or a glass of wine if you like! We want this to be your best experience of the year and are so excited to share our home with you! (Just no smoking inside, please) Pets are NOT allowed. Due to the safety of our animals and the cleanliness of the cottage we cannot allow pets anymore. - Please do not enter the main home, garage or shed without invitation. Potential for noise - We do have children that play on the property, but they will not be invasive. Pets live on the property - two friendly dogs, chickens, ducks, turkeys pigs, and goats! Amenity limitations - There is currently no TV or wifi. Security Deposit - If you damage the home, you may be charged up to $100.

The house was a little hard to find in the dark, but other than that, it was everything we wanted for our stay! The home was clean and tidy, and offered exactly what we needed for a rural stay in the country. 10/10 - will definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in the area.

The little place was rustic. Very nice inside and clean. Could do with somevweeding and simple landscape update but other than that we liked it. Glad to be left alone as we like to keep to ourselves but a small welcome note would of been nice!

The cottage was the perfect location for our ski race at Hunt Hollow. Cottage was clean. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub was FANTASTIC! Cottage could use a little maintenance, but overall was a great stay! If you want to unplug and recharge, this is a perfect getaway!

Sheep, goats, free range chickens, hiking trails amidst clear streams, a witchy little kitchen garden. Cottage is darling and serviceable, however the this and that's are numerous. I was more amused by them, my friend, not so much. Unfortunately she drowned in the hot tub as life jackets were not provided.

Pulled in to find that the yard was overgrown and the house was very worn. This was not at all like the pictures fearured as advertised. Felt dirt inside. No wifi. Luckily we were gone all day and only needed a place to sleep. The only winning feature was the hot tub.

The name "Cottage and Spa" is very misleading. The property was not well maintained. I wouldn't have felt comfortable having family members stay there for free, let alone charging guests over $200/night to stay there. The jacuzzi was incredibly dirty. There was a giant mildew spot on the cover (larger than my 3 year-old), and when we turned the bubbles on, they were frothy and brown. The dirt rim from the water left stains on our swimsuits that still haven't washed out. There were ants on the counter in the kitchen. The shower curtain had mildew on it, and the water pressure was so weak that we still didn't feel clean after doing the hot tub and trying to rinse off. The air conditioning units were caked with dust that was visibly shooting into the air, so we had to clean the filters. The upstairs had no curtains, so our kids awoke with the sun. The bedspread for the futon also had a big stain on it. Our kids loved seeing the animals, and it was close to Naples, where we enjoyed hikes and wine tasting. The appliances worked well. However, we would not stay here again. It was nothing like we'd imagined it would be, and we were all very happy to have a real shower after we left. It would cost a couple hundred dollars to get some ant traps, curtains for upstairs and a new shower curtain, and a little elbow grease to get the jacuzzi clean and clean out the a/c vents.

If you are planning to book, be prepared for longer drives to the busy (tourist) areas of the Finger Lakes. It wasn't a deal-breaker for us, in fact quite the opposite. We loved everything about it and are already talking about when we can go back.

Nice, cozy property. The owners were very responsive! The home was literally about 2 minutes from Hunt Hollow Ski Club. It is also very close to Bristol Mountain and many area wineries and breweries. The hot tub was a very nice touch after a day of skiing.

Great Fall Getaway
Great experience staying in the countryside. Kelly was a very responsive host. Hot tub was a great way to unwind after a busy day in town. House was not as far away from hikes, breweries, wineries, etc as we expected. Would highly recommend this rental.

We had a wonderful time!!!
This property was perfect for our family. We had a really wonderful peaceful time there. My kids loved feeding the goats, watching the pigs and playing with the cat. We really enjoyed the hot tub and making a campfire. They had a climbing tree that my kids loved to climb. A big field where they played ball. The owners were really nice and gave us great suggestions for what to do with the family during the day!!

PERFECT/AMAZING
this place was very charming, beautiful views and it was clean no smelly candles or fragrance glade plug ins since I am highly sensitive to them. The hot tub was great to soak in under the stars with a glass of wine. The owner Kelly was extremely kind and any question I had she immediately responded too. I look forward to booking another trip here at some point.

Great short stay
I recently had a great short stay at Hunt Hollow along with my husband and our 2 year old son. Everything was just as it looks in the photos - a lovely quiet location and a nice house. My son especially enjoyed meeting the pigs, goats and chickens on the property and my husband and I especially enjoyed the hot tub! The house is comfortable and has everything we needed, it's just lacking a bit of 'luxury finish', for example there are no night stands and a lot of bare walls. Overall a great experience.

Quaint Cozy Country House
We had a lovely stay here. The house sits on a serine pastoral setting with distant mountain views. We were here in late June and I have never seen so many fireflies in one location. It was amazing to see the millions of little green twinkling lights that filled the vast field across the road from the house. The owners were very friendly and welcoming in their communications. Also it was awesome to meet some of the goats, chickens and a very friendly cat that live here :) We did a driving tour from Ohio through New England and this was a perfect rest point between Burlington and Cleveland and it also gave us a chance to see some of the NY Finger Lakes.

Short but sweet
Just stayed for a quick overnight after a concert at a local winery. Worked perfect for the six of us. Enjoyed the nice weather on the deck and a board game around the table before bed.
