About this farm stay rental
This 1930's vertical log cottage has been remodeled and added on to. It is located about a mile outside of Ellison Bay on Mink River Road. It is on a 5 acre piece of property and a nice quiet setting.
The cottage has a wrap around porch to enjoy your morning coffee.
The cottage is decorated with antique furnishings.
There is a full size kitchen with all that is needed to enjoy your stay.
The bathroom has a 48" shower. In the living room there a gas fireplace.
The bedroom downstairs has a full size bed. There is also a large whirlpool in the bedroom.
Upstairs there are two beds, one full and one twin.

Nestled on a wooded lot with birdcalls to greet you upon rising each morning. So clean and comfortable. The history of the cottage is posted and antiques and vintage decor surround you. Our host communicated in a timely manner.A very restful, peaceful place, especially the little nature trail!

This was our second time in a row staying here for our annual fishing trip and is a perfect quiet place surrounded by nature to hang out grill and tell a few fish stories while having a few cold ones with your best buddies! It’s very clean and well taken care of a little on the small side especially with 4 guys and another bed or futon/pull out couch would be great but other than that everything was great like last time and can’t wait to come back next year!

This little house felt like a visit to Grandma’s. We especially enjoyed the porch. There was even a little walking path. The whole experience was comfortable and charming.

Beautifully furnished cottage close to town. Great porch to relax on while bird watching or seeing the deer eat from the apple trees. Although it was close to a full moon during our stay, you could see the stars and enjoy the beautiful fall night sky. Interior was nice and cozy and the gas fireplace added to the ambiance. Ellison Bay is a great area to stay, it has a great local restaurant, The Mink River Basin, and also a well stocked general store. The location of the cottage is perfect and makes you feel like your not around all the hustle and bustle of Door County. Thanks Myron and Andrea for allowing us to stay at your cottage to celebrate our anniversary. We definitely will be back!Mike and Tammy M.
