the hot water stopped working and the staff did everything they could to fix it and went above and beyond to help us, the rooms are a really good size, the beds are comfortable and the location was perfect for us

Location was great.
Towels were clean.
Very pleasant young man receiving guests at the bar, and tried to help with the TV.
Extremely shabby room, with an underlying unpleasant odour.
Could feel every spring in the mattress.
Two pillows cases smelt like they hadn’t been changed from previous occupant.
Armchair in the room should have been taken to the tip as it was filthy dirty and unhygienic. The rest of the furniture was incongruous.
Bathroom window safety catch broken which created a significant safety hazard.
Only managed to get two channels on the TV.
Charged maximum price for minimum effort to create comfort or pleasant sleeping environment. Should have charged no more than £15 as it was appalling, or shouldn’t be used for paying guests at all.
