Great location for being close to everything. They do mention the noise and did supply earplugs but didn’t expect the thudding music to still be going on at 4:45am! We had a kitchen, which was unexpected - with a plentiful supply of teabags, which was nice.

Depressing rooms and not clean: Dubious stains on carpet and cushions. We had room at top of the building and the over-bath shower was rubbish: couldn’t stand up in it as it was under the rafters and the water pressure was so poor it stopped working anyway when the shower was lifted into its wall fixing.

Close proximity to event we attended at Millennium Square.

Shower head attachment broken. Tired scruffy drab paintwork. Dusty ceiling light unit & cables. Could not fully close window as catch locked with resulting street noise. Toilet seat loose. Dust and rubbish behind unit TV was upon.

Fast and easy check in. Simon was friendly and helpful. Discount at the bar for guests. Plenty of room for 5 of us in the apartment. Near to nightlife and city centre. We contacted ahead and Simon made sure we had a hairdryer and enough cutlery and pots for our group. Plenty of tea towels, hand wash and toilet rolls provided.

Please be aware that it is very noisy at night due to the nearby nightlife. This goes on until the morning, so not somewhere to stay if you want a good night's sleep. The hotel does warn about this , so believe it! The shower is very hot and difficult to turn down. No bath mat either so the floor does get wet. One towel per person provided so you need to bring a hand towel or use a tea towel. No tin opener- there is now as I bought one. Simon did offer to refund the cost of this. Dining table wobbly so take care. You must lock the door behind you - it doesn't self lock and people can walk in off the street, or if confused about which room they're staying in.

great location, very convenient. the room was clean and generally i believe a fair value for money.

The location is brilliant and the facilities are great value for the money - plus it’s lovely to have a whole pub downstairs.

It can get LOUD outside but earplugs sort that out. It can also feel quite hot in the room but you can’t blame The Wrens for that. It’s an old building and they make great use of their space.
