Excellent location in the main town. We walked around to places we wanted to go to.
Room spacious, clean and very comfortable.
It ha a lift and car park. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Loved the cafe and other facilities
We were home about 7pm and going to get room service but it was Sunday so not available- not a big issue but that was the only thing we would have liked.

We loved the historic atmosphere and accommodation.
Only the gaming part of the hotel was open on a Sunday evening. There were so many sections - bars, restaurant- we could not experience as they were closed and we were only staying Sunday night.

Good location and well heated
There was a very musty/mouldy smell in the room. Most likely from water leaking out onto the carpet area from the bathroom. Very tiny floor space
