Easy to get to from train station (flat walk) and friendly helpful welcome and good tips on local sights and where to go. Clean and simple rooms with nice little balcony and double glazed windows kept noise out from trains

Host was very friendly and accommodating. The place is big and comfortable for several people at once. Great location with loads of amenities close by.

A bit of noise from the trains. However this was fine during the night, and it comes with the convenience of being close to the station.

We stayed there for 2 nights. The hotel is within easy walking distance of both the main railway station and the city center. When we first arrived, the front door was locked, but the host appeared right after we knocked. Check-in was quick, and the hotel kindly provided us with a visitor card for free public transport around Lucerne. There is also a bar on the ground floor that sometimes plays live music - it adds a really great atmosphere to the place! We booked a room with a shared bathroom. The room itself was simple, equipped with a bed, a table and chairs, a mirror, some posters on the walls, fresh towels, and a powerful fan. Out in the hallway, there’s a shared area with a kettle, cups, tea, and a hairdryer for everyone to use. We were also really pleased to find shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay for a night or two.

There was a bit of an unpleasant smell in the room. Also, it got quite stuffy in the summer heat, and the fan couldn't really keep up. The shared bathroom gets humid very quickly after someone takes a shower, which makes it a bit uncomfortable.
