The managers, Sharon and Tony, were terrific people who understood what guests wanted and needed. Specifically, they understood what road and adventure motorcycle riders visiting Tenterfield required. Friendly to talk to, they took the time to listen and share their own stories. They genuinely take an interest in what makes guests' stay at the motel a pleasure. The car parking directly out front of each unit, with a wide overhanging roof that extends well over generally level motorcycle or motorcar parking , provides year-round weather protection, great when it pours down rain or is swelteringly hot, and you're unpacking or packing your motorcycle or your car. The units are well presented, clean, and tidy, with plenty of hot water for showering. You can choose to eat out at the local pubs or have a quick meal in the unit. Sharon and Tony's small touches and efforts in the room are appreciated. All in all a great couple of nights stay.
Perhaps the microwave and its shelving could have been integrated into the kitchenette a little better to free up bench space. But really the things that matter for a few nights' stay like appliances, queen size bed, linen, towels were great and where power points were in most useful places.
