The host was incredibly nice, and even offered to drive guests to a restaurant for dinner if they wanted! Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Chestnut honey a new favorite! It was so quiet and the fresh air helped me to oversleep, which was badly needed!
I didn’t consider how tired I’d be after the long walk and then it was an uphill hike to the property. Because it is a bit rural, Uber Eats did not deliver, but maybe it was just the day. Get food in town before heading there for the night. However, the views were lovely and I saw sheep, horses and an adorable goat!

Gorgeous 2 bedroom stone apartment in the countryside. Worth the extra few kilometers to get to while doing the Camino. Very helpful & friendly hosts, really looked after us with coffees & a freshly baked cake. Oh & to make it even better they have 2 resident donkeys!!

Of the 13 places we booked to stay while walking the Camino from Porto to Santiago this was by far our favourite!
The most exquisite setting up a gorge with a flowing river, big fruit trees, a beautiful garden and extremely friendly and helpful owner.
Absolutely wonderful stay.

A gem of a place. Beautiful setting and worth the extra 20 mins walk from the Camino. The host was delightful and gave us a lift in the evening to/from a fabulous restaurant. Breakfast was beautifully presented.
