The first thing that delighted me about "Anthea Apartments" was the presence of flowers and a beautifully maintained garden. My accommodation was on the raised ground floor—convenient for luggage and naturally cool, so I didn't always need to use the air conditioning. The room was bright with a window and a balcony, so it wasn't cramped. The furnishings, while not modern, were well-kept. Cleanliness was excellent from the room and bathroom to the balcony and towel service. The kitchenette was compact, spotless, and tidy equipped with all the essentials: a kettle, dishes, an electric stove, a quiet fridge, and a sponge with dish soap The double bed had a comfortable mattress, and the pillows and sheets were impeccably clean. The room also included a small sofa (useful for a child or for setting down clothes) and a medium-sized wardrobe with a safe box. There was a small-to-medium indoor table, a breakfast table with chairs on the balcony, and a small outdoor drying rack. The bathroom was mid-sized but featured a large, comfortable shower that didn't flood the rest of the floor. A hairdryer was provided in the room.

Paleochora is worth a visit. It is safe, lively in the evening with shops, tavernas, restaurants and music. There are two main beaches and surrounded by crystal clear sea.
To round off the positives about "Anthea Apartments," I would recommend installing mosquito screens. The climate was pleasant, so I slept with the windows open, but unfortunately, I got quite a few mosquito bites! I had to buy cream to relieve the intense itching!

Excellent location of the accommodation, just a few minutes walk to the nearest shops, restaurants and bars. Very friendly staff, who provided us with all the necessary information. Exceptional cleanliness, really!! The accommodation was equipped with all the equipment for a carefree stay. Very beautiful garden and surroundings with many flowers. Very convenient private parking. The staff recommended the ideal combination of transportation to the Samaria Gorge. Very convenient. Good WiFi.
