Charming old property. Convenient for what I needed to do during and after my stay.
There was an issue with the original room allocated, however the staff ensured I was better accommodated.
The room we were given had an unblocked window which meant too much external light was coming in, making sleep difficult.

Charming old pub with high, pressed metal ceilings and original timber trim & doors. Simple, updated bathroom & kitchen facilities were in keeping with the rest.
The doors to the verandah and some windows were showing their age and letting in a lot of cold winter air (and street noise). The blinds did not block the light from street. Muddy unmade path between car and entry door

It was an excellent deal, the property is an older building but everything was clean, the showers had good pressure and were hot and the staff friendly. There’s two sets of shared bathrooms, one has multiple stalls/rooms for the showers and toilets and the other end has individual rooms with a shower/bath and toilet all in the same room. The room had a sink and tv in it and the air con worked. There’s also a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, sandwich press etc.

The room was large and clean. It looked newly renovated with a convenient new vanity in the room. We had booked a shared bathroom. the location was very handy for St Josephs church. We were attending a wedding ceremony there. Parking out the back was very convenient. Checkin was easy. Handy kitchen with fridges and areas to sit outside in the sun that was lovely. Price reasonable. Bathrooms and everywhere was very clean.
We didn't realise the music would be thumping until after 2am. Also, we could not get the air conditioner to blow warm air. The bed had a sheet and thin cover, so we were cold. It was winter, so not very comfortable. There was only one bedside table as furniture, besides the bed. There was nowhere to hang up our clothes, which would have been handy since we were there for a wedding and reception and brunch the next day.
