While visiting our daughter who is teaching English in Taitung, we wanted a place to stay close to her apartment. Dali Moonlight BnB was close by, and worked perfectly for us. The rooms are good sized, very clean, and well stocked. We stayed in both rooms on the second floor. The double bed room for four people has a good sized shower with a shower door, a nice feature not often found in smaller hotels in Asia. The single bed room for two people has the traditional shower head right in the bathroom. While the hostess does not speak English, we were able to communicate using translating aids and had no issues, as the hostess is very responsive. There is a clean, well-lit common room with a large table and refrigerator that we used several evenings.
The single bed, two person room on the second floor has a very comfortable large mattress on the floor. It was no problem for us, but someone with mobility issues might have trouble in that room without a standard height bed.

Room and toilet design, safety, friendly and informative host who drove us to and fro Taitung Train Station as the station is not in town. Great and cheap eateries just 2 minutes from homestay, especially a chinese restaurant just beside a coin laundromat. Needs reservation, cheap and good food, highly recommended! Host will provide coupons for free breakfast at Macdonalds or MOS burger though was not included in room rates. Please return if unused as she paid for them. Anyway, a nice and cheap breakfast store across the road that serves their local burgers, pancakes, milk tea, finger food n many more.
