Perfect location not far from Busan station, and the price I paid made it one of the best deals available for me to stay in Busan.
It is a very cute hostel and the breakfast was nice as well. The room was tidy, and the beds were comfy. Overall a good eperience, I would say worth a solid 8/10
The bathrooms were slightly underwhelming maybe, not a problem but probably after staying in a hostel in Seoul before where the bathrooms were superb, these felt fine and overall were clean but didn't really impress me.

The kitchen was clean and well stocked. Breakfast was free and the options were limited but great! The room was small, clean, and comfortable. Basically no noise at night from others staying at the hostel. I stayed at the hostel with a friend. We were 18 and 19 and it was our first time traveling independently. The Elephant Hostel was the perfect choice for us. It was in a great location to easily travel to popular parts of Busan. It is great for solo or small groups who want a place to stay where they are independent. There is also a floor for females only, but my friend and I did not stay there. The female only floor is where breakfast is hosted, so everyone has access to that floor. I also loved talking to and meeting new people at breakfast or in community areas. Would definitely stay again if I was ever in Busan.
Something to be aware of for foreign travelers who might be unfamiliar with this: In some restrooms in Korea you cannot flush toilet paper. You must throw it in a provided trash bin. This is the case at the Elephant Hostel. The garbage bag was taken out every day and the bathrooms are cleaned daily as well. This isn't something that was negative, it was just something I didn't know about until I got there. Just writing this in the review so international travelers are prepared for this.

The host was very nice and attentive.
Because of a smell coming from the bathroom air vent, the host thoughtfully offered us a room upgrade.
Its on third and fourth floor with no lift.

It was a fun location near the Gwangbok-ro Fashion Street and holiday lights. It was convenient to get to the Lotte building for amenities as well.
The property advertised laundry, but we never saw a single staff person to give our laundry to. No self service laundry was available. We messaged the host and were told to give it to the staff. However, no staff was present at any time during our stay. The ability to do laundry was pretty important at this point in our trip. I selected this property partially because laundry was listed as a service. I had to wash clothes in the sink in order not to be traveling back home in dirty clothes.
