Disappointing hotel in a superb location

First class location in the middle of Polanco

Untidy, way over priced, mediocre breakfast and facilities in general. Nothing like a high class spirited boutique. This is more like an upmarket bed and breakfast. Would not be worth half the price

bad experience. would not recommend it.

the breakfast. food was good. the waiters and the guys that prepared the bikes for us. cleaning ladies very nice too. the house looks nice from outside.

noisy everywhere. I personally asked for a quiet room. first night they gave us the worst room available. upstairs on top of the kitchen, and the front desk. we heard the guy on this radio or TV all night. and at 5 am starting hearing dishes and tables being moved around. around 7 am big smell from the cooking.. ... couldn't sleep that night. next day could not go out on time and missed my chance of visiting CDMX properly. next day they moved us to an interior room with no natural light. we could hear everyone coming in an out of stairs third day we went to have breakfast and had to listen to owners phone call very loud in a table 5 feet from us. delivering work orders and fun comments almos shouting on the phone. we had to move to the living room.

Very nice boutique hotel. It was so nice not to be charged extra for all the little things.

The breakfast was wonderful. The drinks that were available during the day was a nice touch, even though I never had any. The bathroom was a nice size. I loved that I was given a robe and super cute slippers. All the staff were super nice, even the night guard when I came in super late.

I was only one person in the room, but this would be tight for a couple with suitcases. But, maybe for two people you'd be in a different room.The courtyard was nice, but it could have been more inviting, lush to sit in. I almost passed the residence a few times and had difficulty with uber because I didn't see the signage for the hotel. Unless I missed it...

A lovely spot to start your day and come home to after a busy day sightseeing in Mexico City.

LOVED LOVED LOVED the morning breakfast. So charming to have water and tasty snacks available any time of day or night in the lobby. The Pug Seal building and grounds are beautiful with charming decorative touches. Polanco is a fabulous, upscale neighborhood.

Old and charming means sacrificing some creature comforts like drawer space, adequate lighting, water pressure, etc. Staff worked hard to correct issues with toilet flushing but it was an issue from day 1.

PUG SEAL POLANCO - EXCELENTE HOTEL BOUTIQUE, COMODO Y ACOGEDOR, COMO ESTAR EN CASA !!!!

Excelente Hotel Boutique ..., todo en su lugar ..., limpisimo ..., casa antigua bien conservada, paredes con pintura blanca ofrece mucha luz, todo de buen gusto ..., mejor desayuno ..., te sientes como estar en Casa ! Excelente Servicio Manager de weekend ; Andrés, Eynar concierge recibió cortésmente llevo maletas a la habitación, Gerente weekdays ; Giovanna muy atenta, Luis mesero muy servicial. Recomendaron restaurantes de Polanquito de acuerdo a nuestras necesidades y gustos, le acertaron al 100%. A invitado le ayudaron a estacionar el auto ! En nuestra salida estuvieron atentos llegara el servicio de transporte. Pasamos un fin de semana mejor de lo planeado.

Un lugar especial

Es la 2da vez que me quedo en este encantador lugar y lo que más me gusta, además de su excelente ubicación, es que me siento en casa. El personal se encarga de que estés a gusto en todo, te consienten, en fin, creo que la experiencia en general hace que todo sea especial.

Great unique hotel in a comfortable and safe neighborhood of Mexico City.

The hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and provided details of the neighborhood, history of the area and Mexico City as well as provided recommendations for food and attractions

Very pleasant and stylish boutique hotel

Beautiful - stylish - chic - quiet - perfect location in a very safe neighborhood with nice restaurants and stores nearby - staff was just perfect and breakfast delicious

We felt we booked in the property pictured and ended up being redirected in the other property on Poe street, nice as well but not as impressive as the first one. - the noise in the bedroom at night due to what sounded like neighbours metallic stair case along bedroom wall

Absolutely amazing stay!

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the hotel in Polanco and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The location of the hotel is fantastic, so quite and situated in one of the most upscale and vibrant neighborhoods in Mexico City. Speaking of the staff, they were truly exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect, from the check-in process to the tour recommendations and everything in between (especially spa!). Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with any request was truly remarkable and greatly appreciated. The accommodations themselves were also top-notch. We've got the upgrade to the top room that was spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed with all the amenities we could possibly need. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Polanco. The combination of a great location, exceptional service, unique decorations and top-notch accommodations make it a truly exceptional experience. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so wonderful!

Wonderful boutique hotel. Very beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We liked the Polanco neighborhood, and found it easy to take Uber wherever we wanted to go in the city.

Fabulous - will definitely stay again.

Everything. Fabulous little boutique B&B. Staff was courteous, friendly, helpful and pretty much always available. The breakfast is excellent, made fresh and delicious. The room was spacious and comfortable and there were plenty of places in the hotel to sit down and relax, have a coffee, read, or whatever. Coffee and fresh lemonade are available all day. Excellent location in the heart of the Polanco shopping district with plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. Nice location for walks in the morning.

There wasn’t a thing that we didn’t like.

Simply amazing. From the minute you walk through the lobby and you feel that the vacation has begun . The staff were super welcoming. Every day a delicious breakfast of your choice. The rooms are kept in impeccable shape and cleanliness . Luxury all around . I could not have made a better choice

A charming, warm, stylish place to stay in a gorgeous, safe neighborhood.

Location, staff and property were exceptional. The common spaces were gorgeous- chic, warm and fun. The staff was lovely and so helpful. And the breakfasts, with a full menu and as good as you'd get if you went out, were a delightful surprise.

They have a policy that foreign travelers booking over a certain amount need to do a bank transfer (not credit card), which was a hassle, then there was confusion about if they received it, and there were extra fees on our end. This policy should have been disclosed at time of booking, and should be streamlined (I've never had to do this at other hotels). Also, the rooms weren't the highlight - ours was also a bit cold and amenities were scarce for the price, our kids' room lacked an external window (opened onto internal stairwell) - but overall fine and the rest of the experience there was perfect.

Fantastic boutique hotel in CDMX

The moment I stepped into the hotel, I was immediately taken in by the beautiful works of art and tastefully appointed lobby. Check-in was lovely thanks to Daniel at reception who made sure I was comfortable during my stay. When my bathroom faucet wasn’t working properly, he upgraded my room and apologized for the inconvenience of switching rooms (though I explained I didn’t mind). Breakfast was delicious — where the dishes match the photos and taste even better! It was great to stay here and will definitely be checking out Pug Seal hotels in the future!

While it doesn’t have a fitness center, there are gyms around the area and the neighborhood is great for morning walks.

Excellent boutique hotel in a quiet and safe neighborhood in Mexico City

The breakfast was excellent, The Staff was very kind and helpful. The background music in the public area was relaxing.

The bathroom was small. The AC was noisy, so we had to shut it down at night, but we open the door to the patio, so it was OK.

A funny cute great Mexican experience

The building, location, interior and the staff.

I got a corner room right next to the restaurant which was extremely dark. there was a rare smell of a pipe and no warm water in the tab.
