Not the traditional breakfast in that the host supplied goods for self service. Lydia, the host speaks only Spanish which was no problem for us but should be borne in mind for English speaking guests. The facilities were excellent for quiet and relaxing experience in rural surroundings. A short walk takes you to the next village of Abiada where we found an excellent cantina with reasonable drinks and food. The host, Fernando, speaks very good English. Excellent location to visit this beautiful valley. We went here for the skiing at Alto Campoo but the weather was too nice for snow which was conspicuous by its absence. Disappointing for keen skiers in our group but marvellous for the less keen. All in all it was an excellent stay and the area is recommended. It was our third visit and we will go again.
Nothing really. Adverse weather in getting to Spain with cancelled ferry and of course lack of snow when we got there. Could no be avoided and no fault of anyone.
