Oasis close to the beach

The amazing courtyard with with big trees, lovely pool that has a fun shape and shade most of the afternoon and at a perfect temperature-kids spent hours of fun. Very quiet and restful. Short walking distance to beach (5min) and to centre of town (15 min via beach). Super clean and comfy condo with AC and everything you need to cook, we loved eating at the small outdoor table. Owner very responsive to our questions and requests. Photos very accurate.

Very little. Simply note that access in and out can be tricky, car parking in gated area not guaranteed (though never an issue for us). Laundry is available in site, but is mostly for owners as it's a little complicated (it operates on a special card you need to get from the property management office with deposit, rather than on a credit card or change-based system)-plan in advance if you plan to use the laundry during your stay. We found it concerning that people burned a lot of fires on neighboring property during day and at night (including some that were quite big, and IMO dangerous during dry season)-hopefully that is something that the condos could help address collectively, though outside their control.

Good value for your money, some problems.

I like the location, it’s walking distance from the beach. It’s also in an enclosed community which makes you feel safer. The pool is gorgeous. It’s a small apartment but fine for a group of 3-4 adults. The host was great, very fast with replying to concerns and helping as much as possible. The AC is fantastic especially when it’s hot and humid.

There’s no toiletries provided, so you need to bring your own soap and shampoo. It’s a little hard to find in the night because the name of the apartment is only on the gate. Only one bathroom makes it a little challenging with multiple adults. The TV is all in Spanish lol. The water shut off in the apartment for 3-4 hours due to maintenance happening in the community, which isn’t the host’s fault but it was inconvenient.

Unpleasant, awful, and sad... Not a hotel! Cash only with +20% tax on top!!! My stay at the Cocomarindo apartment was extremely disappointing. The reception by the condo's security lady was a disaster. She is neither trained nor educated to organize the welcome for visitors, making our arrival very stressful, long, and annoying, treating us with disrespect. Additionally, the general ambiance of the condo is nonexistent, with paranoid North American retirees barricaded behind their grills. The rooms are dark, the dishes are dirty, and there is only one glass. I do not recommend this place!

Superb

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is beautiful and the owner was both helpful and accommodating. Gorgeous pool, spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. There was good AC in all the rooms but we didn’t use it as fans in every room were more than sufficient. Nice shower with hot water too. Short walk to the beach and lots of good restaurants close by. We would definitely come back.

La piscine est superbe ainsi que le complexe. Le personnel est gentil et serviable. Appartement confortable et spacieux mais quelques équipements à renouveler (ampoules plaques...)

L'environnement. Il vaut mieux se déplacer en voiture. Et le paiement non possible par carte bancaire.

Pool, location, security staff, comfortable beds, good A/C, beach chairs, internet, tv, gas grill, ice chest. Luggage carts.

Kitchen was old and tiny. Cabinet drawers fell off the railings. Exhaust hood non-functional and disgustingly greasy. Light bulbs in bathroom were burnt out. Jacuzzi never worked. No beach towels. Booked for four but accommodations were set up for two.
