Hotel nice but awful/no support from reservations team re any requests

Nice hotel and layout

The lack of support by the reservations team I tried to arrange airport transfer, to and from Made several phones calls and sent several e mails ZERO response despite saying I would get a call back ZERO call back Very very frustrating a truly frustrating experience

Great location and value for money. But it's not a 5-star hotel, it's honestly 4-star at best.

The location is great with quick access to the two stations, restaurants, coffee shops and shopping centre. The rooftop pool and bar is also a great place to hang out and relax if needed.

The room setup is weird, with the sink being placed right next to the bed, rather than inside the bathroom. There's a big empty space in the bathroom where the sink should be. The buffet breakfast is not great. It's very basic with small selection, food was average especially when compared to the tasy food pretty much anywhere else in KL. There's a 200MYR per day deposit required - which feels excessive.

Lovely staff, perfect location, most comfy beds and stunning pool/bar area - perfect!

Location is perfect for towers but also directly by lovely bars and shops with no grab car required!

The choice of beers is the only bad thing and the cost. Only a strong stout or a green Carlsberg as options. I know all drinks in KL are major and taxed and hotel does happy hour but even a Tiger would make sense.

Superb Stay

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Julian. The location has many very good restaurants, 24-hour laundry which is cheap and convenient and a seven eleven just a minute walk away. The bed was so comfy and big. The shower was superb. There is a monorail station close, but it was humid most of the time, so I'd suggest using the grab application.

Best value for money

Everything from staff to room was perfect. They are helpful, always with big smiles on their faces. Also the scent in the lobby was wonderful. Close to metro station Dang Wangi.

Breakfast room could be a little bigger. We doesnt have problem because we are early birds but there were queue in front of the room between 9-10 am.

Great location, very good service

Great Service, especially Chandra from Nepal who made our day every morning with his super friendly and attentive service. We stayed for two weeks, so that really makes a difference! Also, having numerous restaurants in walking distance in all price ranges and palates was great!

Perfect stay.

Cleanliness, professionalism of the staff & the facilities

Perhaps the light is too bright at the bar at night. Maybe it could be good to dim it so the night view can be enjoyed even more.

DisappointIng

Location, swimming pool and bar on the rooftop.

Certain members of staff are not friendly. I had a communication issue with one of the ladies at the reception as I couldn't understand her (they are not particularly good at English). She lost her patience after telling her very politely for the third time that I couldn't understand what she was saying. To make things worse, she was wearing a face mask. Absolutely impossible to get a single word. I am not complaining about her English. Certain accents are hard to follow if you are not used to them. I am complaining about her attitude, not even appropriate for a 2-star hotel. In addition, our room didn't have an open window, just the wall of bricks with holes you can see from the street. Moreover, the basin was outside the bathroom, which was very inconvenient. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. There are better options in KL for similar prices.

Nice Hotel but let down by the unhelpfulness of one main receptionist

The rooms are lovely and the location good.

The receptionist on checkin was very unhelpful, I booked a room with a large bed and a sofa bed, when we got to the room the sofa bed hadn’t been made up, I went back to the receptionist and requested the sofa bed be made up, I was told no problem, however with no correspondence the bed was never made up, when I questioned this the next day I received no apology and was charged a substantial amount for a late check out, the key wasn’t even extended so I had to do back. Very disappointing to have such unhelpful receptionist,

Lovely hotel, shame about the noise.

The pool and bar was lovely. Great views. The room was lovely, clean and well equipped.

There seemed to be a club or party bar nearby, and the bass from the music was incredibly loud until almost 6 am. It kept us awake both nights, which isn't great. It was a mid week stay, too.

Exceptional

Much recommended, we stayed in floor 20 the view was amazing, the room was pretty clean with all the facilities needed. the breakfast was also good with a lot of choices. And on top of that the pool was great with magnificent view.

Wonderful stay!

The room was excellent, the bed was very comfy especially the pillows. I slept like a baby when there. The pool is also very nice. Highly recommend. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was good though perhaps a bit more variety options could be added.

My family and I were very happy, and The Stripes made our day

I like the view from my room, and the furniture is stunning. The receptionists are also very friendly. The swimming pool view and the cleanliness are awesome. I am very satisfied with my stay at The Stripes.

I am sorry, but I am very satisfied with the stay, so I don't have any complaints. Even my daughter, who is autistic, didn't have any issues during our stay. She is so happy.

Rooftop Pool and Bar!

The room was modern and well appointed. The rooftop pool and bar were a real treat at the end of the day. The staff were most helpful and considerate. We did not eat at the restaurant on site as there were many options for dining- including breakfast- nearby.
