The location is very good and centrally located in Thamel. The adjacent yoga studio is very nice and I was able to do my practice there between classes for a nominal fee.
Being there during monsoon season the solar hot water was only hot 3 out of 15 days, it was not cold the other days but definitely not hot. The boiler gets turned on in September. Wi-Fi was weak except on the ground floor.

The location of this hostel is incredible right in the middle of Thamel. Great for sightseeing, I booked a cooking class and it was a 1 minute walk away. The staff were very friendly and the bed was comfy. Would stay for 1 to 2 nights but there are other hotels that are better, cost more but better.
The room was dated, smelt of old cigarettes, couldn’t change the aircon temperature so had the fan on, a hole in my bathroom so mosquitos and other bugs came in. The room was dirty.
