Our hosts Pedro and Henrique were terrific. Excellent communication and if we hadn’t been delayed from the airport, Rodrigo would not have missed us as part of the personal welcome party. Nice touch, guys!
The apartment was spacious with plenty of room for 4 adults, comfortable and in a perfect location for our group, right at the end of the iconic Tram 28 Graça line on top of the hill.
More detail about the features: Separate air conditioning in each bedroom (2), kitchen and living areas made for temperature adjustability according to individual demand. Double glazing in every room provided perfect noise insulation against the hustle and bustle of a busy urban environment surrounding the building. The apartment was therefore very quiet and a good night’s sleep was essentially guaranteed. The beds were comfortable and external shutters kept out the early morning sunlight.
The kitchen was well equipped, with oven, stove-top, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and washing machine. Our hosts left us a nice welcome basket with a bottle of wine, crackers and a tin of traditional sardines (they are still there). There is a TV in the living/dining area, which we didn’t find time to use. Too much to do!
The stairs…….I do have to mention the stairs. They are interesting, have character and are steep. Each step is a touch narrow, too. Our hosts did specifically mention them from the outset. For travellers with mobility issues, they would be a challenge. Not for us, luckily.
To sum up the situation, we found nothing wanting, the comfort was of superior standard, the location ideal and our hosts were very keen to ensure we were happy (and we clearly were). If that is what the traveller is looking for, then they have hit the jackpot in this “Nest”. Cheers and well done to the Team!

Perfect location. Clean and comfortable with nice views from terraces. Owners were friendly and attentive. I knew we would be in good hands if we had any problems (but we didn’t have any problems).

It was well lit, spacious, and in an ideal area for restaurants and the Tagus river. The support team were very helpful and friendly, we really appreciated their hospitality.
The garbage trucks picked up garbage late at night and were really loud. It was not sound proof. The flooring was not easy to keep clean because of the type of material used for the tiles. The grout in between the tiles weren’t very clean. The bathroom tub should have handles to grip, because the bathtub was really high and difficult to get into. The tub was small and slippery, so a bathtub mat would have been useful. Also, the metal caddy for the shower gel and shampoo was rusted out and black flakes would fall off around the tub.
