About this cottage rental
Situated in Seneca Lake, this lovely cottage for $392 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Located on the east side, you will enjoy beautiful sunsets. Enjoy swimming in refreshing clean water. Jump from the dock or wade from the shore. Bring your boat and tie up to the dock or rent kayaks, canoes and paddleboards from a local company that delivers them to you at the cottage. Home was originally built 1910 as a guest cottage to larger family cottage next door and over the years several additions /improvements have been added, though the vintage charm remains. Original front living room opens onto covered porch overlooking the lake, beach & dock. Larger living/dining room in the back, added later, has a wood burning fireplace & baseboard heating. Master bedroom & kitchen have baseboard heat, too. Large kitchen is well equipped with any /everything one might need to make the most elaborate meal-and/or a microwave for reheating leftovers from one of the great local winery restaurants! Ideal location feels private & secluded yet close to so much. On the Seneca Wine trail. Watkins Glen is 10 minutes away, Ithaca and Corning 30 minute drive. Wireless internet is provided. Smart television and expanded cable MAX OCCUPANCY IS 4. Spacious master bedroom with king size bed, full bathroom & second bedroom upstairs (double bed). Queen size bed and additional full bath on ground floor. Upstairs/downstairs nice spilt for couples. I provide high quality sheets, plenty of pillows all encased in breathable allergen covers, blankets and decorative quilts & shams for all beds. 2 bath, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths left for each guest. Please bring your own beach towels. Dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, cleaning supplies, trash bags and toilet paper provided. Various spices, oil, vinegar, condiments left but not guaranteed. All Major cell phones carriers seem to work fine. No local land phone line provided.

What a wonderful place for a relaxing vacation. The house is quaint and very comfortable. It is very much like visiting your favorite grandmother’s house. The house has a grand view of the lake with a wonderful porch to relax on. While we were there, we had a nice rain shower that filled the creek that runs along the house and we were able to sleep to the sound of a babbling brook. The home is well-appointed, and everything you need is easy to find. Adrian is a wonderful host and is very fast to answer any questions. I will definitely stay here again as well as recommend this to any friend planning to stay in the area.

Perfect location for exploring the Finger Lakes! We had a wonderful stay at this quaint cottage right on the shore of beautiful Seneca Lake. Very secluded and peaceful but easy access to all that the Finger Lakes region has to offer. Just a few minutes drive from Watkins Glen State Park where we enjoyed a beautiful hike and the town of Watkins Glen where you can grab some groceries or enjoy one of the restaurants. The house is very comfortable and stocked with everything you’ll need for a relaxing getaway. Sipping coffee on the porch overlooking the lake and beautiful fall foliage was magical. The host was fantastic. They responded very quickly to any questions and all of the directions/instructions were accurate and helpful. The house was VERY clean when we arrived, which is important to us. We definitely hope to return!

We had a great stay at this cute cottage, ideally located ten minutes from Watkins Glen and within easy reach of dozens of wineries and breweries. The ktchen was well-stocked, the bed was very comfortable and the porch overlooking the lake delightful.

We had a great time at the cottage. The house is right on the lake and very convenient to Watkins Glen. It was everything we wanted, and the car park was an added bonus since we had some rain the week we were up there. We'd definitely visit again!

Great property! Perfect location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect...a short drive to Watkins Glen and great wineries with amazing views. The house Was comfortable and had everything we needed. The neighboring creek provided relaxing background sounds for a soothing nights sleep. Property manager was easy to get in touch with. Will look to stay here again in the future.

Although it rained most of the time we visited it was still great. The location is amazing. The waterfall right outside the back door was awesome and relaxing. The lake was a little cold because of the nasty weather but we definitely enjoyed ourselves!!!

The cottage is nice and very quaint! It has a lot of room and was well stocked. Access to the lake was easy as it was right out the door and down the stairs. The porch was great for coffee in the morning and wine at night. It will be a strong consideration if I am in the finger lakes area in the future!

The covered deck was a fabulous place to start our day with a hot beverage and end our day watching the sunset with a cold one. Quiet and Cozy
Quiet area, charming cottage and serene views on the private dock made for a fabulous get-away for us. Enjoyed the separate areas to use such as the back room for games, kitchen for eating and the family room for movies! Plenty of places to choose from for sleeping too. My favorite feature was the hammock. I spend many afternoons lounging in it while I ready! Thank you Adrian for allowing me, my husband, daughter and son-in-law into your home.

Fabulous Cottage
We stayed a week with our cat. The cottage was immaculate and very comfortable. The setting was great....quiet and peaceful. The location was wonderful. Lots of wineries and nice restaurants close by. Watkins Glen was only 10 minutes from the property. Adrian was very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is magical. It feels like stepping back in time to the vacations of my childhood. Every detail of this home was thoughtfully curated. Adrian is beyond an amazing host. And the location is perfectly situated. We can’t wait to come back again.

We enjoyed our stay with with our family dog and definitely enjoyed the water in this Rustic and cozy turn of the century cottage. The last two days were a bit hot for a couple of our elderly family members, but we managed. Great location!

Cozy, charming cottage on Seneca Lake
We really enjoyed staying here on a last minute getaway with our dogs and teenage girls. The cottage suited us well. We are an athletic family and love the water. It’s located in a perfect setting right on Seneca Lake with gorgeous views, a dock and and gorgeous pebble beach. It is also next to a beautiful stream with small waterfalls. I found this old cottage charming and interesting and had some of the best sleep listening to the beautiful sounds of nature. We loved having our dogs with us and enjoyed seeing our girls put down their phones and enjoy nature. The cottage is conveniently located about 5 minutes away from Watkins Glen and great wineries. There were many comforts provided by the owner that made us feel at home. That being said, this may not be as perfect for everyone as it was for us. It is an old cottage that could use some additional work and you must be agile to stay here but we loved it.

Cottage is built at the turn of the last century and has a lot of history and character. The house is not only on the lake but there is a small gorge going down next to the house which keeps it cool and means there’s a sound of gurgling water in addition to the lapping Lake makes for a great sleeping Our favorite place was the back porch overlooking the lake. It is perfect for reading, breakfast, and watching the sunset. The beach is also lovely a perfect flat stone beach with lots of privacy and a great dock. The water was cold but we swim every day. I highly recommend it especially to families

Quality in the details
We are a family of 2 parents and 2 college aged children. In our stay we found the cottage to be welcoming, clean and comfortable. The sheets, towels and soaps provided were of good quality. We got the sense that the owener cared about how pleasant our stay was. There is a good view of the lake from the porch of the house and the dock is easy to get to and private. The wi-fi was good enough to stream movies on laptops and play games. We would stay there again.

Amazingly charming spot on a Seneca Lake
My husband and I spent 4 days late into summer in Adrian's lovely family cottage. The wraparound windows in many of the rooms made us feel like we were camping in the woods, and the sound of the tree frogs, crickets and hooting owls at night gave us some of the best rest and sleep we've had in years. An amazingly peaceful spot, with a fantastic view of and beach right on the lake. The cottage has a rustic feel, but is comfortable, cozy and made us feel like we were spending time at a much loved family heirloom. The fact we could stay here with our two small dogs, made the stay even more amazing. They loved sniffing out the beach and woods.

Magical, Peaceful and Everything We Hoped For!
My husband and I spent a week at the lovely cottage on Seneca Lake. Our stay was restful, gorgeous, and the cottage was everything we hoped it would be. Adrian was prompt, professional and fantastic to communicate with. Words can't really express how magical a place this is. The house itself was cozy and felt like home to us for the short time we were there. So great to sit out on the porch and just watch the sunset, which we did every night while eating dinner. My husband is from the Fingerlakes region and even he was impressed! Great location for those wanting to explore the region (and the lovely wines therein). We had perfect weather for our stay. It was hot, so the added pleasure of being able to jump off the dock and go canoeing every morning was wonderful. The company Adrian recommend regarding the canoe rental was great (Regan's). We highly, highly recommend brunch, lunch or dinner at the Stonecate Cafe in Hector, which is very close to the cottage. We would highly recommend the cottage to anyone (friends family and those we don't know!). Expect, don't take our week...we are coming back! :)
