Hawkesbury River Guest House is situated at Lower Portland right on the banks of the beautiful Hawkesbury River. Although you are just over an hour from Sydney, you are a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life, a place where tranquillity and magic reigns.
This beautiful two story guest house offers river views from all rooms, with easy access to our private boat ramp and a jetty available for larger boats. Enjoy on your own private waterfront, which is fantastic to swim and water ski from.
The guest house has all brand new décor.

Great quiet location, love the lake. The owner was so friendly, his team and himself responded so quickly, check in was effortless and hospitality was above and beyond. I %100 will be back. Thanks Rod

the property was delightful, I think one of the most prettiest views I've had the pleasure to sit and enjoy.
The house itself was excellent, extremely clean and well stocked.
The only drawback was the house and our immediate surroundings were about 20 metres from the boat ramp which was used by at least 5 or 6 different boats. At first it was exciting to watch the cars back the trailer into the water and launch the boats but after a while with different people being relatively close to us I began to feel uncomfortable. The owner's 2 sons were friendly and pleasant but the others didn't acknowledge us and it became awkward and I decided to go indoors when they were getting their boats on and off the water. Sadly this took away from the overall comfort of our stay.
