Located in Indian Wells, this lovely house for $950 per night is a great option for your next trip. Surrounded by the beautiful Santa Rosa Mountains, this modern contemporary home is incredibly landscaped and very private. It's a great location within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and bars. Premier golf courses are just a couple of miles away. Amazing 6,800 sq. ft. Estate with 6 Bedrooms, 8 Bathrooms, plus many bonus rooms throughout. There are a total of 5 king beds, 2 queen beds, plus the casita living room has a twin bed if an additional bed or sleeping area is needed. Mountain View Retreat was built with every modern amenity designed to enrich your enjoyment of life. Behind a coded gate, and with a coded security entrance, your privacy and protection is a priority. A spectacular full-size pool with a corner Jacuzzi is surrounded by grass, a covered patio, BBQ and deck. Enjoy the grounds by playing bocce ball, ping pong, horseshoes, and a putting/chipping green. This is a great property for 3-4 families or large groups. The layout of the house allows for 3-4 distinct living areas with lots of room to congregate. The Main House has two master suites each with king beds and ensuite bathrooms plus a guest room with a private lavatory that can be easily accessed through the master. The guest room has an exterior door as well if privacy is desired. In addition, we have a TV Den between the two masters and a basement with a large flat-screen TV and multiple couches. The main house has many rooms to eat and hang out. The kitchen is well equipped and is designed to be the focal point for the house. The kitchen is just as much of an entertainment room as it is a kitchen, with bar seating, a couch, and a TV. You won't see a microwave here but you will in the butler's kitchen. The butler's kitchen is the perfect place for countertop alliances like the toaster, microwave, and blender. Use this room to store your dry foods and cold drinks, or prep and clean with a second sink and dishwasher. The formal dining room is a modern setting that opens up to the pool deck. The dining room table seats 10. Open up the double-wide sliders and find an outdoor dining table for 6. The next living area is the Casita which has two bedrooms with queen beds both with ensuite bathrooms. The casita living room has a TV, mini-fridge, and sink. The views from the casita are arguably the best on the property overlooking the casita lawn, pool, and the beautiful Santa Rosa mountains above the palms and citrus trees. The newest addition to this estate is the double king suite with an ensuite bathroom with an elegant freestanding bath and granite walled shower. Down the hall is a spacious game room with bar, regulation size pool table, 80' TV, and outdoor chipping/putting green and horseshoe pits. Behind the bar, you will find a mini-fridge and sink making the game room the ultimate hangout spot. Private chefs are available, as are private yoga and maid services. COVID19 updates: We are spacing our guests by a minimum of 24hrs. All sheets and towels are cleaned at high temperature and all surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. Citations issued for noise or occupancy violations will be paid by the violating guest. Rental suspensions resulting from noise or occupancy violations is a serious offense. Guests who cause a suspension of rentals as a result of noise or occupancy violations will pay owner loss of rent from such suspension. La Quinta has a strict 2 strikes policy with immediate 30-day minimum suspension if 2 citations are issued within 12 months. You will be notified before your stay if there are any citations prior to your arrival. This property has exterior surveillance cameras at the front and rear entrances. It also has outdoor noise aware monitors to alert excessive noise levels.

We spent 4 days here with a group of friends, 9 of us total, celebrating my husband's 37th birthday. The property has an impressive layout and you'll never want to leave.
The property was easy to find and while you definitely feel secluded, you're close to every store or restaurant you may need. The property gives off resort vibes and we all agree it will be hard to find a place more enjoyable and will probably be coming back whenever possible.
Pool temp was always great, spa heat was quick and HOT! Outdoor games were the best, we brought our own corn hole set, it's the one thing they're missing. We played bocce ball several times, definitely our fave.
The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook/prepare food.. Although I had to refrain myself from organizing everything, just keep searching and you'll find what you need! The oven was so confusing, it took awhile to figure it out.. Still not sure if we can actually understood it but it did it's job.
The bedrooms were impressive and beautifully made up. One wonky mattress in the room off the master, our friend said he felt like he was being hugged at night which he was fine with haha.
The stone/hard floors are rough on your feet and for standing in the kitchen preparing food.. Bring comfy shoes or slippers to wear throughout.
Overall, wonderful experience. We can't stop talking about it and wishing we were back.

The house is incredible. It's beautiful and spacious, modern and well-stocked! The pool and grounds are stunning!
The only thing that folls should be aware of is that the first main bedroom is comnevted to another room. Thats not really an issue, but they do share a shower. It was just a bunch of girlfriends, so not an issue for us, but I can see it being an issue if there were two or more families sharing that space. That aside, this place was part of my amazing 50th birthday celebration!

My family and I had an AMAZING time at this property! The house was very spacious so we didn’t feel on top of each other the entire time. There were plenty of activities and games to keep all 13 of us (9adults 4kids) entertained. We practically lived in the pool and it was the perfect temp day and night. We had an issue with the freezer on day 2 of our stay but Andy and Melissa were extremely prompt in communicating, worked very quickly resolve it but getting a brand new deep freezer to us the next day. The place was clean but I would say that it’s probably time for a refresh on the small common area things; couch pillows, casita rug, a little wall touch up. It’s such a beautiful modern property that those small upkeep needs seem out of place. But overall this place and host was perfect for our family getaway and we ABSOLUTELY plan to come back!!!

My friends and I came here for a girls' getaway weekend, and everything was amazing! The house is very unassuming from the street, but once you enter the property, it's like you are in your own little private oasis.
It has a ton of space for hanging out, and the outdoor spaces were wonderful. We were within walking distance of a Trader Joe's and Aldi's which was very convenient for getting food and drinks. The owner was super responsive to all of our inquiries. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to all of my friends and family!

Stayed here with a group of 12 guys for a bachelor/golf weekend. The house was massive (you might literally get lost in there!) with plenty of spots to sleep, so no worries there. The pool, hot tub, yard area was great. We spent a lot of time in the back house with the pool table, putting green, and horseshoes. Loved how close the house was to shopping, restaurants, and golf courses without feeling crowded; the house was very well secluded by trees, felt like we were miles away from the town. Owner was responsive to our questions as well! Overall, great place to stay for a large group, highly recommended!

I really wanted to love this property and give it the same glowing reviews that most people have given it. But I can't. We've rented a lot of homes in a lot of places - this was among the most expensive. For this amount of money, I would expect hangers in the closets, kitchen appliances that are operational, and furniture in pristine condition. Instead, we had a few wire hangers in each closet, two broken appliances (dishwasher and range exhaust - plus a leaking kitchen sink), and worn and/or dirty furniture inside and out. Some furniture was not as depicted in the photos and some was missing. While we had plenty of room, an easy walk to shops, an easy drive to Living Desert and other attractions, we also had traffic noise because of the location. The truly convoluted layout of the house actually worked for our group, giving everyone space - and an adventure for the toddlers who were on a search every day to find new rooms - and the yard was great for games of all sorts - but the kitchen was almost unworkable in its configuration. The owner helped us source a temporary fence around the pool which was really helpful - thank you for that - but the response from the manager upon hearing about broken appliances was "that's a bummer". Sorry to say the experience just didn't live up to expectations.

Guys golf trip comfortably roomed 8 in their own spaces. Walk-able to breakfast, dinners (Cliffhouse yes!) and 15 min drive to all the best courses. Will try to stay again next year.

We stayed at this property for a long weekend in the desert. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate however all the amenities were there for amazing outdoor fun. The location was perfect for our plans, very easy to get around La Quinta and Indian Wells.

The big negative is it’s tired….needs love and a good scrub and replacement of a lot of broken pieces. All the cushions were filthy didn’t even want to sit on them, dirty placemats etc…
We had a major storm which flooded the kitchen… looks like it’s happened before… also dripping onto one of the beds.!
It’s also very noisy… major highway just there.! We did get used to the noise.
Time needs to be spent rfixing and refreshing.!

Great Place to Stay!
We stayed here for a girl's weekend and had a wonderful time. The outside is so beautiful and massive that you feel like you are miles away from a city (even though it's right outside). The pool was perfect and we had an abundance of space for our group. Andy was a wonderful host - communicative, helpful and kind. Highly recommend!

The Moutain View Retreat was ideal for our family reunion. The bedrooms were large and spread out, so we never felt like we were "on top of one another." We planned very few activities because there was so much to do around the house. It really was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect.
