Friendly staff, clean place, spacious room and peaceful village. The German style breakfast was delicious. It is around 7-8km from Konstanz centre. There is a nearby bus stop and it takes around 35 minutes to reach the center. I was here while traveling with my bike around Bodensee. Biking from this location to the city centre takes you through very nice bike paths.

Ich hatte zwei Nächte über den 1. August im Landgasthof Kreuz verbracht und war rundum zufrieden. Das Zimmer war grosszügig geschnitten und hatte alles, was man braucht: ein bequemes Bett und ein Waschbecken im Zimmer, Toiletten und Duschen über den Flur. Alles modern und sauber. Auch die Gaststätte hat überzeugt: sehr feine Spätzle und leckeres Dessert. Das Frühstück gibt es ein paar Meter die Strasse hoch in einem anderen Haus, das ebenfalls sehr hell und freundlich war, mit einem guten Standardfrühstück inkl. Decaf Kaffee. Die Bushaltestelle liegt direkt im Ort, von dort kommt man gut zur Insel Mainau und nach Konstanz. Meine Hündin Tilley war ebenfalls herzlich willkommen. Ich hätte am liebsten gleich wieder für den 1. August nächstes Jahr gebucht, leider war schon alles ausgebucht. Kann es nur sehr empfehlen!

Restaurant was good Comfortable although basic
Basic seating in bedroom, shared bathroom, going between properties for check-in and breakfast. Noisy on cross roads and parking limited. Shortened holiday by one day but no refund which we understand but the hotel could have used discretion. Parking limited
