Beautiful facility. Our room was in the home next to the main part of the hotel. Excellent restaurant on the property for dinner and breakfast. Parking was on the property behind the restaurant. Near the castle. Nice area for walking
The room was on the second floor, accessed by a spiral staircase with no elevator. Noisy in the evening due to guests talking next to where we stayed.

Tasty breakfast, nice location all in all, cozy beds
We had the junior sweet, which was nice, but not totally cleaned , e.g. cobwebs on the pillow on the couch. At the evening it was a bit loud from the bar (music and people chatting).
The gym is not a gym but a dark small room with old facilities. I went to a nearby nice gym and payed there.

It was the BEST hotel ever, exceeding our expectations in every respect. Perfect location, excellent breakfasts, very helpful staff. Every afternoon from Monday to Thursday delicious soup is served free of charge, with bread and a selection of salads. If I ever returned to Kalmar, I would definitely choose this hotel again
