The gardens & outside dining were lovely. The hotel is very old & charming. Breakfast & dinner were delicious. The room was large & bathroom was big with a bathtub & separate shower. These were nice soaps & products provided. Most of the staff were lovely & helpful.
There is no lift & very steep stairs to our room on the second floor. No one offered to carry our bags to the room. We had to ask & offer payment. It was hot in our room even with 3 fans. No air conditioning. We had to leave the windows open for air & it was very noisy from traffic on the main street. We did not sleep well. One of the front desk staff was argumentative when we had an issue with our dinner reservation.

The courtyard/reception area…. Very Victorian! It’s lovely & quaint.
There wasn’t enough handrails near the shower in the bathroom.
