What a location just beautiful, staff very friendly, look out behind the hotel amazing and a lovely hike down to the village food was great too

Most amazing location of Madeira! In the middle of the mountains! Calm, nice place. Cool pool and jacuzzi. Resto and snack bar almost always open. Spacious family room and huge balcony. Nice staff.
I was personally afraid of the last piece of road to and from the hotel but experienced drivers shouldn’t be afraid.
The sauna and hammam cost 10 euros unfortunately and i think they are never in use ;) but for the rest all was fine, even the “pricey” restaurant.

Location is what you pay for. It is exceptional. Views are amazing.
Hotel is a bit dated. It was spotlessly clean. Food was okay. The pool area could have some plants and greenery to make it more welcoming. The view from the pool is amazing.

Breakfast, dirty windows, quite old hotel and needs ar least reconstruction.
