Heath Cottage Hotel

Friendly staff and cosy room.

The room was a good size, the sofa and the bed were both very comfortable and cosy. Tea and coffee facilities were provided as well as some breakfast items, which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The car park had ample spaces and easy to park in.

The bathroom wasn't clean, had to clean the towel rail and bath before we used them. The TV in the room was very small, we ended up borrowing one from my partners parents house so we could relax in the room during the evenings and mornings. Our room was also at the front of the hotel which was very noisy due to the road. Unfortunately none of the milk or breakfast items were dairy free, we did ask but were advised vegan option was not available. Also the bar didn't seem to be open at all during our 3 night weekend stay.

Reasonable price. Room was clean. Person who did check in was helpful. Room was serviced if requested.

Would have preferred staff on site all the time. Fabric of rooms has seen better days.
