I thought the food was excellent for a small hotel in the middle of a small Scottish town on a relatively busy road in a non-tourist location. The room was comfortable and spacious - room 18
The room is on the main A76, which to some extent is noisy first thing in the morning. This doesn't bother me as I am up early. However, breakfast is only served from 08:00 which is a little late for me as a business person.
