The hospitality is *chief’s kiss*, it feels like a mom and pops place and the staff is like distant relatives you want to hug.
There is something nostalgic about it, I felt like the past didnt fully leave it yet - and I most appreciated it.
The bed is soft, the shower is hot, the room is clean.
Amazing location, 5 min to the airport bus. I’m the middle of everything. Everything you need is walking distance. Great value.
My room smelled like cigarettes although I did get used to it ( this is common in Istanbul). there was no tea kettle/iron, and I didn’t see complimentary water - but I also didn’t ask the front desk for it - perhaps you do need to ask.
While there are no facilities like gym, conference center, etc, I think it’s a fair trade off for the advantages it does offer. And again, is very charming - I will gladly book it next visit to Istanbul.

Very good location in Kadikoy. I asked for a table and a chair, and the personnel immediately brought me.
