The guesthouse is located in a very calm area. We stayed for one night and drove to Landmannalaugar the day after. Everything was clean and nice. There were two showers and 3 rooms for 7 people. We had everything to cook and store our food.
We arrived around 9pm and the host welcomed us properly.

it was out in the middle of no-where - liked that
The property itself is fine, but the description on Booking.com is completely misleading.
There was no breakfast served — when we asked, the owner simply said “no food is available for breakfast, but you can have coffee.”
We also requested dinner and were told no, and that there’s a gas station a couple of miles away if we wanted food.
The hot tub is cracked and has peeling paint, although it is hot and the views are great.
We also asked about horseback riding the next morning and were told no, because (in their words) “you don’t look like good enough riders.”
As justification, the owner offered the example that they once had “some Swedish princesses who actually needed help getting onto the horse,” and therefore no longer offer riding.
