Great location, value=quality

Great location, 13 km from Nordkapp, facilities clean, big kitchen. Quality adequate to price.

I did not expect nothing better for 62e in 13 km distance from Nordkapp- So all was ok.

Disappointing

The location is great - just a couple of minutes walk in to Skarsvåg, and a ten minute drive to Nordkapp. Free parking right next to our cabin was handy. The toilets and showers were reasonably clean.

The receptionist was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. She was completely miserable! The lock to our cabin was faulty - I had trouble locking the door and asked the receptionist if she could show me how to use it - she refused and responsed with "it's an old door". She said she'd get the owner to come over and have a look later - that never happened. As advised on booking.com, there is an additional charge for towels and linen. The cost was approx £9 per person. The duvets and pillows are left in the cabin however, and seemed very unclean. Lots of hairs/stains on the duvets. I think perhaps some people use them without the sheets on, and that is why they are so dirty. I found that really off-putting. The toilet cubicles are too small. When you're sat on the toilet the door is in your face. The toilets were reasonably clean however there was often an unpleasant smell in there.

friendly host if it’s what you’re looking for in a camping holiday you’ve hit the nail on the head.

well heated , warm and clean.

I can’t get used to having to ask for linen. Ablution block clean and plenty hot water. cooking facilities poor (non existent with no utensils or pots etc…. but I guess that’s camping.

Great location, amazing nature.

2 bedrooms cottage, Low level for high cost... Normal accommodation and not comfortable for family, Bad internet connection, no TV, No sofa, very old bathroom,I don't recommend it for family's.

Two nights in Skarsvag

Location perfect, walking distance to the town centre and a short drive to nordkapp, heated communal toilet shower block was always spotlessly clean and plentiful supply of hot water in the showers

Great location, near to the official nordkapp. Really nice staff. It was warm in the cottage.

Good accommodation near Nordkapp

Location (close to the North Cape) Quiet area Hiking possibilities in proximity Parking space next to the cottage Large common dining room Small shop in the camp Kirkeporten :-) Blueberries :-)

There could be more toilets (there were two but one of them was closed) The bed linen was paid extra (it was OK, but we could have known it in advance) The road to the village had a couple of large deep holes (one needs to drive carefully)

Very nicely located, easily accessible campsite with comfortable cabins

We have been here before and had accommodation in the other campsite. For this barren area, you always have to cut corners. The accommodation we have occupied three and there was enough space. The equipment a little sparse but sufficient. We were very satisfied.

The lamps were unfortunately defective or some bulbs were missing. In addition, a window is stuck, so that cold air always came in. However, I was able to close it with a little force. Here would definitely have to be reworked once.

Stayed there when visiting North Cape - short, but good stay overall.

"Base Camp" is perfect phrase to describe this camping - good location to go to visit North Cape, cottage is quite spacious and comfortable for 4 persons.

Superb

The location is great! We rented a room for 5 people, that was in a house with a shared entrance with another rental room. The house and the room were simple, with Nordic and cosy decor, clean. We had small and simple komby kitchen and kettle in our room. In the hallway, there was a shared washroom and toilet, again simple and clean. Everything worked, as it was supposed to. I really liked the fact that our room had windows in all directions as the views are lovely. Check-in and check-out were convenient, and the reception was helpful. I needed to change my booking and communication before arrival was excellent. We were very satisfied and would like to return. :)

great stay as close as it gets to Nordkapp

The cabin was clean and comfy. There were enough toilets and showers so you do not have to wait for one to be free Kitchen had several stoves and ovens, plus a small electrical stove in the cabin Close to Nordkapp and other hicking trails

This is a bit my fault: there’s no grocery store mearby, so do your shopping on your way there. Otherwise you have to do a 20 round trip to nearest supermarket

Cleaning not exist. We found the room full of dog hair and also covers were dirty.

A beautiful camp in the far north of Europe.

A nice little camp with very friendly staff. You have everything at hand in the camp. The house was clean, sheets for a small extra charge (also a towel). The nature is wonderful (lake, sea, hill). 10 minutes by car to Nordkapp.

I don't have any bad comments.

perfect location to visit Kirkeporten & North Cape

no readinglight on the bunkbeds, not enough facilities in general for to many people, really crowded. Kitchen is extremely small and has very slow cooking plates.

Every real tourist should spend a few days here and visit local attractions.

Perfect location for tourists going to Nordkapp. The campsite is located next to the village of Skarsvåg by the lake. 20 minutes from the campsite there is a beautiful view of the Kirkeporten rock gates. Per is a very nice owner

Unfortunately, the hot water ran out quickly.
