I had a wonderful stay at Santa Maria Hostel. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a genuine smile. The place was clean, well-maintained, and had a great location that made exploring the area easy and enjoyable.
A special thank you to the team for creating such a positive and friendly environment. It’s not just a place to sleep—it feels like a place where travellers can connect, relax, and feel at home. I would definitely recommend Santa Maria Hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and memorable stay.

Spacious and lovely rooms. Homely atmosphere. Very kind staff. Good location. Good kitchen with clean facilities and water cooler.
The girls bathrooms had a slight smell which was consistent throughout our stay despite the facilities being clean. Thinking it might be the stall walls.

great location, lovely old building, very friendly staff, on a busy street close to shops and restaurants.
kitchen was very small especially when people wanted to sit down and eat. Showers were ok, the shower head had to be held. It was very warm in the bedrooms even with a fan and this was October. It could be unbearably warm in Summer. The street outside was busy but as it was October it was no probem and people were going home about 10pm. In Summer it could be noisy on the street outside and hard to sleep.
