The house is excellent, Stephania is very nice 👍 the room and the beds are perfectly clean. The buffet breakfast 🤤 was amazing. We used the pool every day.
The location was not very good, up a very steep hill, as is most accomodation on Funchal is. We walked down to the centre once, it's a 40 minutes walk and a taxi back up was 15 euro.

Nice buffet breakfast, equipped with all you may need. Beautiful and well-curated garden.
It wasn't comfortable at all and lacked basic hotel-room amenities. (Mini fridge, shampoo etc.) I am 178 cm, and I had my feet off the bed. The mattress had somebody's shape imprinted on it, stiff like stone, and was surely smaller than a double bed. We had to create a mattress topper with blankets and towels.
