a very relaxing stay. we plan to return.

the property was roomy, clean, well appointed with a lovely green aspect. We brought our border collie kelpie cross who enjoyed playing with the owners three border collies.

Best B&B EVER!!

The suites have been purpose built so, as you would expect, our apartment was roomy, clean and very comfortable with a lovely big bathroom. The grounds are quite picturesque and we had a very nice outdoor sitting area. Breakfast was included and it was delicious, Chris cooked up a feast with juice and fresh fruit with yogurt to start.

We loved our stay at Barkly suite apartments!

Beautiful location with just a short walk into the main town, the room was large and spacious with air-conditioning and heating, breakfast was excellent, everything was clean and presented well. Chris made us feel so welcomed, offering to drive us into town and pick us up if we wanted. We will be back!

The bedroom was big spacious so was the bathroom. Nice spacious lounge. Liked the gardens. Host was friendly & helpful.

Freezer unclean. A few things missing teaspoons, and tea towel. Milk. Kitchen dirty floor and / or kitchen. Conditioner missing.

Great stay

Location, accomodation, setting, service and plus top breakfast, all amazing. Interesting and friendly owners with great local knowledge. We will gladly return to stay again. Easy access to local shops, vineyards and local attractions.

The Perfect Accommodation

What a magnificent place! Chris and Ian were beautiful hosts. The apartment was enormous and Chris' breakfast in the morning was exceptional. Great value for money!

Such a nice stay, the rooms are huge and the bathroom is MASSIVE. We woke up to a beautiful home cooked breakfast which far exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by a couple of pups! We couldnt recommend high enough, they made the stay so welcoming and easy.

I would highly recommend this accommodation but make the most of it by staying two nights.

Breakfast was delicious. The rooms were very spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Ian and Chris were excellent hosts. It was to wet to enjoy the gardens but maybe we can do that another time.

Welcoming in every way, clean and spacious accommodation, facilities excellent, breakfast did us until dinner, and Ian and Chris were delightful hosts. even Letty didn’t want to leave. Letty our dog loved the yard, other dogs and the rooms. We will return!

Fantastic

Spacious, clean and very well considered self-contained accommodation in a great location. The king size bed was exceptionally comfortable and clearly a premium mattress. Bed linen and towels were also very high quality. Hosts Chris and Ian were helpful and friendly, and the cooked breakfasts were delicious.

Chris and Ian were wonderful hosts. The facilities were great and the breakfasts sublime. it is a beautiful setting the gardens are lovely. We would definitely return.

I absolutely loved staying at Barkleysuites. Modern, clean and spacious with lovely hosts. Beautiful gardens and surrounding area made it perfect to relax. Being in a safe environment as a solo traveler was fabulous. Thank you again for being so lovely and welcoming Chris 😊
