Firstly the staff were great. Helpful and professional.
Day one - After smelling smoke around the swimming pool, I found a fairly serious fire in the poolside toilets. The hand dryer had burst into flames, and it was spreading quickly to the ceiling and debris burning on the floor. I ran to reception, raised the alarm, and the conceige (a guy named De) tackled and extinguished the fire. Well done De, very proffesional. Drama over no follow-up or reassurance for those in the vacinity by management team. Guests were ignored!
The room 2002 near the pool was very small, designed like a beach hut. It was dark, no windows, and the bed was a platform. Just 4 inches off the floor. Bathroom and shower ok, nothing more. Steps to room and area outside not cleaned for 4 days ( photos attached), looks awful as we leave. Room cleaned twice - not the best.
Breakfast was good and varied it does, however, get very busy and chaotic at certain times.
We have had far better rooms, hotels and bungalows on our tour for a lot less money.
