I liked the neighborhood a lot, everything around looked picture perfect. The supermarket is close, the restaurants are everywhere, the vaporetto is easy to reach - getting out of the building was just in the heart of Venice, with everything conveniently close. I also appreciated the communication with the host (who is actually part of a separate hotel) - they were all nice, they provided a lot of information and tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We got additional garbage bags and our towels were changed once during our 6-day stay. We could also store our luggage there for several hours after the checkout.
The room is small, with hardly any furniture, there was only one chair, hardly any space on the available table, the wardrobe had no shelves, the fridge was minuscule and it was leaking water, and the bed was too soft and creaking. There were not cups or glasses available, just 2 paper cups next to a small coffee/tea machine.
While I appreciated having air conditioning, the device was mounted low on the wall and it was really hard to avoid the direct flow of air. As it was very hot in the room and the windows were directly on the main street, which was rather loud and anyone could actually see inside the room, the only option was to keep the AC on, which was too direct and loud.
I also did not like that we had to handle the garbage ourselves. Since the city has a specific way to collect garbage, and the room is actually handled by a separate hotel, I think it would be fair that admin arranges for garbage collection on a regular basis.
All in all, it was a good stay, but the room seems more suited for shorter stays.

This apartment is located at the Venice city center, close to supermarkets, restaurants, shops, a vaporetto stop, and the main attractions, making the location superb. It is an old classic building, and it has the charm of the old city. Apartment is clean and has everything you need for your stay.
You have to pick up the keys at the reception desk of the hotel who also manages these apartments. It is about 5 min walk, but the host will help you with any questions about Venice you may have.
It is an old classic building, so the apartment building is a walk-in without elevator.
As you are in Venice, you will have to dispose your own trash. The drop off point is quite close to the apartment, so it is not much of an inconvenience after all.

The location was great, and the size of the apartment was nice. The Receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
The shower is very small with no shelf or anything to place products. Bathroom could have been cleaner.

Location was great, very central and easy to get around.
Although the flat was clean overall, seemed like it hadn’t been fumigated as there were several small cockroaches.
Also, the mattresses were quite uncomfortable and there was a funny smell in the bathroom.
