La struttura e’ situata in una zona isolata, con un piccolo villaggio a 10 minuti a piedi ed una spiaggia bellissima ed incontaminata. La camera che ci hanno dato era amplia, pulitissima e molto bella (con vista alla piscina ed al mare). Il ristorante buono ed il servizio educato e non invasivo. Abbiamo fatto il tour privato in barca con l’hotel: un super servizio ed esperienza.
Con un minimo di manutenzione in più, la struttura sarebbe fenomenale. In ogni caso, la struttura è pulita e bella.

We absolutely LOVED Phi Phi Phu Chalet Resort.
The resort was brilliant - individual chalets built into the hillside overlooking pristine waters and coral reefs. The resort was secluded and felt removed from the party atmosphere of central Phi Phi Don. The on-site restaurant and bar served delicious food and drinks for reasonable prices. Otherwise, a 10 minute stroll into the nearby local village provided half a dozen different restaurants/bars to explore, along with a pharmacy, general store and massage shops.
Phi Phi Phu resort staff were friendly and very helpful in booking island tours, organising snorkelling equipment (free) and Tuk-Tuk rides into the village (100 THB). The beach out the front offers some lovely relaxed snorkelling and kayaking, and there was a gorgeous infinity pool to lounge by during the day. Our bungalow room was lucky enough to be at the top of the hill, and while it was a steep climb the views were incredible. We had seen a few other reviews mention creepy crawlies in the rooms but we saw none during our stay, even when looking for them!
We wish we had a longer stay to do more snorkelling and visit more of the local bars and restaurants!
There was a door in our chalet separating the bathroom/anteroom from the bedroom, which we were told to keep closed so mosquitos didn't enter the bedroom. We felt a bit nervous about this, as we couldn't work out how mosquitos would be getting into the bathroom/anteroom area... One of us did receive a few bites during the night but being in the middle of the jungle we just started applying insect repellent before bed. The need to keep the door closed meant that area wasn't air-conditioned and we only used it when strictly necessary. A bit inconvenient but not the end of the world.
Other small things that could have been improved were the basic breakfast and service around the pool - but these were very minor and didn't detract from our overall incredible experience.
Just noting this great resort is quiet, isolated and peaceful. Things we loved but might not be to everyone's taste.

Very clean, view is spectacular.
Staff are incredible. able to book the scuba, tours etc. for you. The scuba guide they booked us with was the best we ever had.
It takes 40min+ to get here on the boat. If makes spending time in the main town of phi phi a bit tricky

This place is amazing. I was a bit worried reading some of the comments before arriving, but we did not experience any of the issues mentioned in the negative comments. The place is beautiful and the view from the room is stunning. We decided to change our travel plan to stay another night. The pool is nice with a nice view, the staff are very helpful and friendly, the bed is very comfortable, the bungalow is nicely decorated and you can borrow Kayaks and snorkeling equipment for free. The town is only a 10 min walk and is connected by a bridge and it’s only a short walk to several beautiful beaches. The breakfast is also nice. It’s a bit expensive to get into the main town of phi phi, but there is no need to go into the main town as you have everything you need in the small town. We would definitely stay here again.

It's the perfect place if u are looking for just relaxing your soul. It's abroad of the Ton Sai. You can reach it just by Taxi Boat.
The view outside of the window from our Chalet was stunning. Also, the whole Staff Crew was very polite and very friendly. All in one, it's a good relaxing area.
You have a trial through the jungle if u want to hike to Ton Sai (70 minutes). If you want to go for the beach you have to walk around 10 min.
One of the best things here, to be outside of Ton Sai to relax, is in the same time the thing where we had mixed feelings. So after relaxing, u can't do so much here.
Behind the chalet is the jungle. In the night, you ll find always some cockroach in your bathroom or some geckos moving and singing from ceilings or walls. But hey, that's a common thing in Thailand. Just expect some guests :) If you don't mind, you will have a very good time here.

I loved everything about this place…it’s beautiful, very clean, staff are amazing, restaurant is as good as any of its peers in Thailand…just read the positive reviews, as the negative ones simply must be living in another universe, or just people you cannot please. I travel the world and if you’re not happy at this place you can’t be happy anywhere
Only possible shortcoming is the steep steps up to bungalows…not for old or infirm…but that’s the only thing I can think of…I’d live here forever if I could afford it 😁

The staff was super nice, and the location was far from the crowded area, so it was quiet and private. Also the temperature of the swimming pool was not cold but perfect for us.

The service here was exceptional and it is just a little piece of private paradise. we had a beautiful ocean and pool view that was so lovely to wake up to. There is plenty to do with kayaking, snorkel, swimming , games, and they were able to book island snorkel trips for us. Everything ran so efficiently and the food was also fantastic. we ate dinner at the dining area 3x because it was so good.
Higher priced for lodging in Thailand but at times, you get what you pay for.

Firstly the staff were absolutely lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The bungalows were spotlessly clean and spacious. The inclusive breakfast was very good. The pool was stunning.
It was a little further out than we had expected but the upside of that was that it was so beautifully peaceful. Getting on and off the longboat to and from the hotel was a challenge, especially at low tide. But added to the fun and excitement.

amazing place, if you are not looking for the 5* European resort. very nice small place, amazing people and service! very traditional place, amazing to unwind a couple of days. in first sight it looks very isolated, but a 15 minute walk in both directions takes you to a couple of very small traditional villages. highly recommend! (but be prepared- bring mosquito repellent with you as this is the country side!)
when we arrived weather was not so good, so could not take out a long tail boat to go swimming. when asked what we could do around, we were told to stay in the hotel instead. while it was nice, we discovered two villages at walking distance that nobody mentioned. small detail in grand scheme of things!

Everything the hotel is fantastic very quit staff fantastic couldn’t be more helpful the sea view from are room was to die for never closed the curtains!! To wake up to the sea view every morning room s very clean air conditioning fantastic made my husbands 60 birthday special room 924 Thank you to all the staff for are wonderful stay x

The location is idyllic with beautiful views.
Amp in reception, was exceptionally helpful in trying to resolve a problem we had which had nothing to do with the resort.
The resort is very quiet and perfect for those wishing for some peace and quiet.
A little village about 15 mins walk away gives options for more eating and social activity in the evenings.
We were surprised that the restaurant and bar closed early ( 8.30pm last orders).
The resort is in a steep hillside so has many steps. This could be a problem for those less mobile and fit.

the best service we have ever experienced! the staff couldn’t have been nicer, the family chalet was spotlessly clean and spacious and the snorkelling off the small beach was good fun with the kids. the food was also delicious!

Beautiful cabins and amazing view! Love the location, away from the busy town. Staff were very kind and helpful, and resort offered kayaks and snorkel gear for free. they also helped us organize a cooking class at a local restaurant. Highly recommend!

Everything was great! The bed was comfortable, aircon worked well in the room. The staff were so helpful and nice, we booked an all day private tour around Phi Phi and it was sensational.

The air conditioner directly blows on the bed, impossible to sleep if on and even less if it is off.

The location was great, peacefully and direct access to a small private beach with good options for snorkeling.
The view with the pool was simply amazing.

Phi Phi Phu Chalets is lovely. The room was large, clean, well decorated and comfortable. The pool is great and the view from the pool/restaurant is beautiful. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was good and fairly priced. The free snorkel equipment and kayaks were great (there were snorkel trips being dropped off right in front of the hotel, so it is a nice snorkel location). There isn't a beach but the pool is lovely. The location is in the north and the town is only accessible by boat, so it is peaceful and away from the madness of Ton Sai. The hotel is a 10 min walk from the town, the town has a little and quaint walking street with restaurants, bars, massage places and a small supermarket.
Honestly, we couldn't have had a better stay.
The complaints in other reviews on Booking.com feel a bit unfair. Regarding the remote location, look at a map and read the hotel description, they are clear you need a boat to get there and the return journey is charged (250THB per person) and there are set times. As for the staff being rude/English not being the best, you are in a remote part of Thailand and their English is excellent compared to our Thai. Yes, the breakfast menu is limited to Thai rice soup and variations of eggs plus pancake and fruit, but this is small hotel.
