Romantic Getaway on nearly 10 Private Wooded Acres on Texter Mountain w\/hot tub
About this chalet rental
Nestled in Pennsylvania, this attractive chalet for $245 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This rural mountain location is very private and enchanting - yet only a few miles from restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, etc.!! It is situated in approximately a 2-acre clearing near the back of almost 10 wooded acres. The road is not visible from the chalet. The lane is 1/10 mile long (through the woods). You may see wildlife while soaking in the hot tub, sitting on the deck or patio, or exploring the woods. There are several trails in our woods and a peaceful area by the creek to relax in a hammock, lay on the loungers, or relax on the swing while enjoying the stream or a campfire. Our year-round hot tub (with an ozone-based purification system) is sunken into the patio for easy entry and exit. Relax on the loungers by the outdoor fireplace after unwinding in the hot tub while smelling your steak on the propane grill or hamburgers over the fire. There is accent lighting on the stone wall, fireplace, hot tub, wall/post lights, and area security lighting. You can control this lighting to create the most elegant and romantic outdoor experience. There is an outdoor shower on the patio to rinse off before or cool off after your hot tub experience. Watch a cheerful fire burning in the fireplace on the patio, thru the patio doors, from the comfortable inclining queen bed. Watch the sun go down in the west from the indoor Jacuzzi near the front windows in the main room. The modern kitchen with granite countertops has stainless steel appliances, including a fridge/freezer, full range, microwave, toaster oven, blender, and Keurig coffee maker. Included in the rental is... - guest use of the washer and dryer on the ground floor - firewood for the outdoor fireplace - unlimited incoming and outgoing calls to anywhere in the United States and Canada on the phone in the chalet - high-speed internet (WIFI) by Comcast. For your safety and peace of mind, a fully automatic generator (power standby) unit is installed to provide full power to this property and all its amenities in the rare event of a power outage in the area. WEEKEND RESERVATION POLICY... We give priority to the guests who want to reserve the whole weekend (Friday through Monday). However, we will gladly accept a shorter stay if the weekend gets closer and it isn't booked. (Exceptions may also be made on a case-by-case basis). Not having changeovers on Saturdays or Sundays allow the housekeepers a weekend break and the ability to worship on the Lord's Day.

We loved the house. Hot tub, indoor fireplace, and lights were all on when we arrived which was nice and easy for check in. A lot of the outlets didn’t work especially the out door one where I wanted to charge my electric car. We cooked a lot and all appliances and kitchen utensils were there which was nice. Plenty of towels and toiletries to accommodate us. Would recommend to a friend

My spouse and I have stayed here during the winter for the last three years and plan to return again. The property managers are responsive and kind. The hot tub is amazing and a great place to watch the sun rise, or the stars at night. We look forward to our next stay.

Amazing place. Cozy and romantic the owners have taken great care to make their chalet a memorable place to stay. Walks on the property, hot tub under the moonlight, fireside jacuzzi bath and a quaint living and kitchen area, we fell in love all over again. Close enough to civilization if you want to get out and see the area (Reading half hour to the north and Lititz/Lancaster half hour to the south) and a great restaurant/tavern close by called
Franklin House. We will gladly book again!!

Had a great time at the chalet. It's tucked away just far enough that you don't get any road noise, so the whole stay was very peaceful. Everything was clean, and looked exactly like in the pictures!

We absolutely loved the property. The seclusion of the place made it nice for all types of events outside. It was nice and cozy and so peaceful. We will definitely be back. only one suggestion is a king size bed.

This place did not disappoint. I could live in this cozy chalet. We were in love the minute we pulled up. We went shopping to buy similar decorations to make our house just as cozy. Look forward to a longer visit in our new future.

Beautiful property inside and out! Outdoor hottub is excellent. Absolutely pin-drop quiet surroundings. Excellent star gazing at night. The Owners are wonderful people, the neighborhood food is excellent, 15mins to local stores. My Wife and i celebrated our Honeymoon here and it was excellent, we didnt want to leave! We were really looking forward to spending a bit of time away from our hectic lives to celebrate our 36th anniversary at this beautiful chalet. The property was private, had gorgeous views, was exceptionally clean, and Bev the owner created a very romantic atmosphere from the moment you opened the door...and the gift of goblets was a truly special touch! From the well-stocked kitchen to the hot tub and outdoor oasis, the Private Chalet was beyond impressive! We felt very fortunate to have spent such a lovely time here!

When we first walked in, there was soft music playing, electric candles lit everywhere, and aromatherapy. The care and love that Bev and Terry put in to hosting is so evident. The attention to detail shows how much they care. Everything you could need, they have. The kitchen is fully stocked, and there are even outdoor games for your use.
I surprised my husband for our 8th wedding anniversary with a few days here. We loved the secludedness this house offers. We enjoyed the trail and the hammock by the stream. We used the grill and cooked our lunches and dinners on it. We loved the hot tub and sitting on the deck in the mornings, drinking coffee. We played games, explored the property, and the massage room was a fun surprise. And we loved looking through the guestbooks through the years and the before and after photos of the chalet.
The house and property are beautiful and well maintained. Communication with Bev was always prompt and responsive. We cannot wait to go back.
