Pensión Casa Douro was located about a 4 minute walk from the cathedral which meant you got a great nights sleep as you were away from all the night time life. The accommodation was great value for money and a wonderful stay after completing the del Norte camino. Highly recommend.

My room was very clean and comfortable. Good shower. There was a fan which was useful during the heat. The place had a common area with fridge, microwave and coffee machine that was very useful. Great location!
I wish the room had windows that let natural light in. Some of the plug points were not working and there was no night lamp near the bed.

Good location
There is no option for early check in even with extra pay. We did Camino and last 4 days it was raiing all the time - it was very bad experience to stay 4 hours on the street in rain to wait the check in time (3 p.m). We sent them 5 messages and no answer.
Also they have a kitchen but only with one microwave, without any plates, forks and knives so you can’t use it.
