Great location in Gwangalli close to all the bars, restaurants and beach. My room also had a nice view of the ocean and the bridge!

Room took some time to heat up, but once it did it was quite warm.

it was really convenient! especially having the option of cooking breakfast. the staff were very friendly, especially the man at night time and in the morning when we had breakfast

you pay for what you get I suppose. the room is just that! if you aren’t gonna spend a lot of time in your room then that’s fine!

Room was a little too small

the hostel was very well equipped with everything you will need for a stay. if you are used to staying at a hostel then this one is amazing value for money and the location couldnt be better. situated right next to gwangali beach it is perfect walking distance to everything you might find enjoyable. There is currently construction going on due to the city bulding a new apartment complex next door and the lively fishermen can be a little noisy when receiving trucks early in the morning but that really was not an issue. the owner was extremely kind and helpful and encourages a good breakfast in the morning with fresh eggs and bacon on standby. there is room for parking if you have a car.

due to to the high volume of people and tourists traveling through Busan, there was a lot of dirt and dust on the floor because some people didnt clean their shoes or take them off at all. this was by no means the fault of the owner, just some rude guests. being a hostel, this does make sense. just something to keep in mind while visitng this establishment.

Amazing hostel! The breakfast is superb, the owner provides a lot of equipment for cooking. Eggs, bacon, orange juice, flakes, coffee, tea...it's all included. Never seen that before in a hostel. The rooms were superb, well isolated and very quiet, since you're at one end of the beach. There isn't any traffic going around. The location is a short walk from Gwangali beach, which makes it super easy to either go further north torwards Haeundae, or more south (Nampo-dong). Even ended up staying an extra night, great great place!

Very inexpensive and lovely staff

It is located in the fish market area which I wasn’t expecting! We stayed in a dorm with inset bunkbeds. The bottom bunks were clean and comfortable. The top bunks not so much.

The manager was friendly, the breakfast was good 👍. The food was provided by the hostel but we cooked it. We felt like our home, very comfortable .

The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. The location was great, very near the beach, but far enough it could be quiet at night.

The street where the hostel is located is a bit hard to find, inside the live fish market.

The staff, common area and the close proximity to the beach are great! We also very much enjoyed being able to cook our own breakfasts and loved the rooftop.

The room itself was extremely humid and covered in mold. Even our clothes were wet from the humidity and smelled like mold after we left... If you want to stay here I suggest strongly to have a dehumidifier. The hostel is located in the middle of fisheries, so while it's very close to Gwangalli, keep in mind it's not on the beach itself.

The friendliness of the hostel manager. He is so approachable and tells a lot of stories and made our stay welcoming.

In the description and photos in the booking.com site, the room that we booked has a view with the bridge. However, it is disappointing that the description and the pictures were not updated as there was a new tall building blocking the view ofd the hostel. So there was no view of the bridge anymore. Aside from that, the hostel is already old and not well maintained. The common room did not pass our cleanliness standard. There are a lot of trash cans overflowing with garbages. There are a lot of dishes/glasses left unwashed. It is already very different from the pictures as there a lot of things already in the common room. On our first day too, we couldn't find the hostel manager. We couldn't charge all of our gadgets since there was no electrical power. Only the aircon and lights are working. We messaged them here on booking.com but they did not respond. We had to wait for the next day for our electrical plugs to be working. It turned out that the manager forgot to turn the main plug for us. How can he forget that very important thing? Imagine all of our gadgets being low on power for more than 12 hours? It is also very different from all of the hostels and gueshouses I've stayed at that they would send us instructions on everything about the place even before our arrival. Or someone would welcome us and explain everything about the hotel. He can only be reached thru his local number and we do not have the capacity to reach him thru that. Other hosts will provide their KaTalk ID or would respond right away thru email. We hope they could improve and keep up their old rating of 8.8.

We had a great stay! There were some hiccups with our rooms due to a third party travel agency double booking a bunch of them and the hostel staff still found a way to accommodate us. Great communal space and the free breakfast was awesome!
