Our room was large and comfortable, matching the price we paid. Still, it was nice being within walking distance of the train station. It was also the only place we stayed in Spain for three weeks that provided room service, and that was nice to take advantage of.
This is not something I didn't like, per se, just less than I expected. We stayed here because we had just walked 300 km on the Camino, and we wanted it to be within walking distance of the train station. We arrived at 15:00 for check in, tired, hungry, and with some dirty laundry. The staff were super nice, but they did tell us the laundry service wouldn't be ready for us, given we needed it in less than 24 hours--despite a claim on the form we could request urgent service. I had to wash my laundry by hand in the fanciest hotel in Spain! Also, this was by far the most expensive place we stayed. For reference, a single laundered shirt cost €12, whereas it was pretty normal everywhere else we stayed to have our entire load for three people cost €8.
