The breakfast is very good and plentiful, with several local food options. Beach games are included in the price, and the hotel facilities are beautiful and spacious. Parking is very convenient; valet parking is not required, and you have access to your vehicle throughout your stay. There are also several dining options available every night without having to leave the hotel grounds.

The pool was not kept in the cleanest condition, and the bottom had several damaged areas that could even pose a safety hazard. No one was collecting the empty cups around the pool areas, which resulted in a lot of trash accumulating by the end of the day. The rental bicycles are in extremely poor condition, to the point that guests sometimes need to be transported back by golf carts. Housekeeping did not arrive at my room until 6:50 p.m., just as we were getting ready to go to dinner, which essentially meant that we received no housekeeping service that day. Although the breakfast is very good, there is not enough seating for all the guests, so you often have to wait for a table. There also do not seem to be enough servers. One day, we saw guests eating their breakfast without water or juice because there is no self-service option, and they had to wait for a server to bring the drinks to their table.

Took too long to check in. The prices are the bar are crazy. Paid $11.75 for one single corona bottle. Never went back for another drink.

Huge pool, good breakfast. Very nice landscaping but I guess that also leads to mosquito/no-see-um issues, they do have golf carts that can shuttle you around. Self parking is pretty convenient because you can park closer to the bungalows. The hotel recommends renting a car and I’d agree, it’s pretty far out of the way but super straightforward to get to. Rooms were pretty big. Was able to add a rollaway bed and a crib to our premium king room.

No-see-um bites were intense, always have to use their bug wipes before going out. Beach is incredibly rocky but that’s due to the coral reef. No waves either. Room floor was all tile, which got slippery when wet. They’re very generous with their pool towels though. The size of the resort can be an issue, we were able to get a close room to the main building but I can’t imagine being at the far end if traveling with kids. Housekeeping sometimes didn’t restock certain things but could call the front desk and they would send us more than what we needed.
