The is a 'logis' hotel is well situated close to the charming town centre and within 30-40 drive of many eastern Brittany sites. It is nestled under the castle with views of the lake and easy parking. We welcomed the extra space in our 'suite' which was good value and the flight of stairs to the room were not a problem even with cases. Reception staff were welcoming, friendly and always helpful.
The restuarant was closed on the (Monday) evening of arrival and its menu was limited - especially for a pescatarian. Although the hotel has a separate bar its staffing is patchy. Room facilities were adequate but lacked a hair dryer which should be standard for a hotel of this calibre.

Lovely staff great location.
The shower was in a nook which made it difficult for anyone taller than 5ft 5 to use. Luckily my husband was in another room with the children so wasn't an issue.

Friendly staff, early check during the heat wave which was very welcome, safe place to store our bikes and a large room.
No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. No bottled water in the room.
Average breakfast.
€6 extra charge to pay my bill on card, I was told this is because I am not in the EU. This is the only place I have been charged a fee, so can't help but think this was an unnecessary charge which I feel is unacceptable.

Location was excellent.
The bathroom was large and well equipped.
There were no drink making facilities in the room. The top floor room had limited headroom due to the sloping roof.
The twin beds were very narrow.
We parked 2 motorcycles in the garage and were charged for 2 vehicles whilst only taking up about one car space.
