The staff was pleasant and the food was good.

The room was damp and right above the parking area. The shower wasn't sealed well so the floor got flooded , which may be why it smelled like mold when I first entered. The area beside the bed and the window had broken floor boards covered with a small rug , but uneven . The sheets felt damp as well . The hotel itself was otherwise pleasant , despite being a 15 minute walk on narrow sidewalks to town.

Nice hotel with a fantastic courtyard very close to the Camino route. In an old monastery this hotel present itself really nice. The rooms are spacious and the building has a lot of history. The restaurant was good and the whole stay just made you feel welcome and welcome

The pool was not open...winter time they said, but to a dane Spin has no winter time. Small thing but a disappointment anyways

This place is old style grand European hotel - very well appointed. The chapel in the hotel is gorgeous. A spacious property with a salt water pool that closes in the colder months. The dinner was a full menu and mostly with pilgrims as guests.

Comfortable and quiet room in a great setting.

Can’t judge all facilities as just slept there, but all seemed ok. Reception helpful.

The house has its charms and is decorated well - if impersonal. Large room.

Perhaps the staff is hassled by foreign guests (no Spanish guests around), but except for the staff in the comedor they are really impolite. Very untypical for Spain. Our bicycles had to overnight in the rain - strange that in such an enormous building no room can be found for them. Breakfast is a plastic and dull experience.

Lovely property with very interesting history

It is a beautiful historic building with a nice swimming pool and garden.

I booked a small room in the main building but I was given a room in the annex out back. The hotel didn’t feel welcoming and it felt like the few guests staying that night were an inconvenience to the hotel. I had wonderful stays here about 8 and 10 years ago, but it has lost it’s charm since then.

beautiful renovation. Room 2 was very large and comfortable. plenty of secure parking. dinner was varied and delicious. breakfast had a variety of choices from self serve options.

there weren’t enough lounge beds for even the small amount of guests using the pool, although there was a grassy area to lie down upon. the pool was clean but the floor tiles within the pool, under water, were very, very slippery, suggesting that they were relying on chemicals alone and not using a pool cleaner vac.

A gorgeous respite from the Camino! the pool was lovely and the staff was super!

Breakfast was not very exciting but perfectly fine. It is served in a very nice room.
