Staff were all outstanding. Friendly and helpful. Restaurant also very good - variety and quality.

I like hot water in shower etc but the hot water was extremely hot - there was a warning sign to be fair but I wonder if the top temperature could be thermostatically controlled.

Ideal location for Abbey and other interesting places.

The water was so hot I had to run the tap a long time to get a cold drink. Considering the drought this was a waste of water. My room was near a fire door and staircase ( room 24) which meant noise as people came and went. However they changed my room which was very satisfactory.

The restaurant and bar area were very nice although we never ate there but the menu looked very appetising. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. The location was fabulous too. We got free parking which was a bonus. Thank you to all the staff.

We had a twin room n⁰ 9. The beds were very narrow with big heavy double quits on them. The room was very warm and so we had the windows open. The drone all night from some sort of fan or extractor kept me awake the whole night long. It went on and off, on and off, it would have been better to have stayed on the whole of the night. The floor boards creaked very loudly and part of the floor by the bathroom seemed as if it was about to fall in. But it was only £79 per night and we only stayed the one night. You get what you pay for as the saying goes. I'm sure not every room had the same problems well I'd like to think not anyway. For one night it was adequate. Thank you.
