The building is being renovated but there was no issues with this. The room we had was very nice. The bathroom was newly done with a large tile shower and floor, new sink and toilet. Very nicely done. Our room was on the main floor and quite roomy and quiet. Freshly painted with new cabinetry. It was at the back so nice and quiet. There new wall outlets with usb plugs built in. The staff are great! Breakfast was included and it is toast (that on your table as soon as you get your juice), 2 eggs, a beef sausage and beans. We opted for just the eggs a few days and put them on toast. The eating facility is downstairs but it will need to be bigger when all the rooms are finished..
The location is great too. It is only a couple of blocks from Victoria Station and easily walkable to a lot of major points of interest. If you want to see the changing of the Guards, get there early. We booked another 5 days so we could stay there after our trip short north.
Not much. A small fridge would be nice but not essential.

The cleanliness of the room and they always changed the towels every day.

Price , clean towels and bedding, supplied with a fan in room and an hairdryer. Newly decorated bathroom. Some updating was happening new carpet on higher floors. Lots of stairs so if you have mobility issues request ground floor. We were floor 3 (60+ stairs)
Parts are old and tired , carpets and breakfast room . (Think some renovations are taking place) the breakfast room could do with a floor sanding to bring out the beauty of the herringbone wooden floor and a redecoration. Breakfast could include bacon (not sure if religion of owners restrict this) ? Choices was eggs, beans and chicken sausage , you could help yourself to tea/coffee water or OJ along with cereals. Toast (2 pieces of bread each person) was bought to the table and butter, jams and sauces were on table maybe some crossiants/pastries would also be nice
