The people were really nice! I also got an outfit made upstairs by honey and his team!

Excellent location, nice swimming pool; good selection in the restaurants; decent breakfast. Free sunset boat ride to have dinner on The Nile was a really nice touch (pre-order meals and drinks). Friendly staff, not overbearing.
Inevitably dust and dirt get into the room given location - the floors aren't clean for long.

The restaurant overlooks the Nile making it a great spot to enjoy breakfast. The pool is a plus but the staff were all wonderful, especially Nardian.

Very communicative staff, which was great. Lovely, in fact. We were only there for a few hours, having arrived late at night with an early pick-up for Abu Simbel at 4am. They made us breakfast to go and were really nice and attentive.
The sheets were very "pilly" so not very comfortable. Its really a no-frills type of place - you are there for the sites, not the hotel. Don't count on a wake-up call - we never got ours! (but who even does those anymore? - they offered it....)
