We had the perfect stay at Villa Vodno. Our flight landed late and the host was kind enough to wait up and check us in, the room was very spacious and clean, the bed was super comfortable and we slept amazingly both nights. A lovely breakfast spread was served both mornings including the offer of eggs to be cooked (fried eggs were perfect). Really recommend for a relaxing stay in Skopje. It was about a 30 min walk into the centre, or there’s a bus stop just down the road or alternatively it’s quick and cheap to get a Wizi (app like uber/bolt).

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig, im Grünen, am Ende einer Sackgasse und am Rade der Hauptstadt. Ins Zentrum läuft man bergab etwa 25 min. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Vermieterin sehr zuvorkommend. Ein nettes familiengeführtes Restaurant erreicht man in 5 Gehminuten.

The location is very quiet at the edge of the city and very near the mountains. The building is a bit antique with old furniture and many self-made paintings at the walls. The rooms are large and comfortable.
Breakfast is rather basic and the people were a bit typical. Cigarette smoke all over the building and many visits per day in the room. We did not feel very comfortable.
