The room was tiny. We had booked for two people but everything in the room was for 1 person. One cup, one towel, a twin size bed. Even for one person it would have been uncomfortable: oversized chair that could be situated at the table otherwise you couldn’t get to the bed. The window opened onto a closed section where the roof was covered in cigarette butts and rubbish. Had it been cheaper perhaps it would have been more acceptable, but at 230 a night breakfast excluded, it was just disappointing. The room was so small that the air conditioning system was placed above the bed. So even though it was 37 •C in Paris, we couldn’t turn it on.
