This is my 2nd stay here. Beautifully decorated rooms with ensuite. Comfy beds and shower is great. Excellent coffee! Reception ladies and restaurant staff are very welcoming, polite, friendly and helpful.
There is nothing I didn't like. I would recommend this hotel/pub to anyone and I would definitely return.

The bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and nicely furnished.
We are regular visitors to Yorkshire and there are a number of hotels that we return to time and time again. First impressions of the Red Lion were good and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Im afraid that an incident occurred that spoiled this first impression. We ordered dinner on the second night of our stay but there was a mix up with our food order. We were shocked and upset that a member of the bar staff told us very rudely that we had been given what we had ordered. This spoiled what would have been a pleasant stay.
