We had a wonderful stay at Grandma Eugenia's. This is authentic Greek hospitality at its very best—living up to the ancient Greek tradition that elevated hospitality to a sacred virtue under the protection of Zeus Xenios.
The rooms are beautifully decorated in a traditional Epirus style, spotlessly clean, and impeccably maintained. Breakfast was exceptional: fresh and delicious, featuring local products, homemade pies and cakes, freshly squeezed orange juice, and wonderful homemade jams.
All of this is set in one of the most beautiful villages in Epirus.
The two women who run the guesthouse are outstanding hosts. They spoke passionately about how they view their work and their philosophy of hospitality: they welcome every guest as if they were arriving at their own home. That warmth and genuine care were evident throughout our stay.
We wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend this accommodation. It is one of the finest places we have ever had the pleasure of staying.
