Le Couvent des Minimes, un Hôtel & Spa L'Occitane en Provence

This is, hands down, one of the few places I'd be happy to return to. Everything radiates style and elegance—from the moment you walk through the doors, through the main building and pool area, all the way to the room. The spa is in a league of its own: the variety of facilities, the aesthetics, and most importantly, the sense of privacy. Even at full capacity, it feels spacious, and no one is stepping on your toes. Lastly, the breakfast is phenomenal. Such a great way to start your day—every single day :) The only thing to keep in mind is the location, unless you don’t mind driving. It’s about 45 minutes from Valensole to the east and about an hour from the Luberon to the west. We didn’t mind at all, but it is what it is.

The property is absolutely stunning and so well designed. The whole property and our room was so clean, spacious and comfortable. Our room had lots of light, a bath and shower which was lovely. The pool area was great and there was a pool bar which did great drinks and food. The spa was absolutely gorgeous too. This hotel is a great place to relax, eat and read your book. There are two restaurants, one Michelin star and the other a bistro type, and the pool bar remained open into the evening where there were comfy seats to sit around and relax.

Two things from me: one, it was an extremely quiet property and it would have been nice to have at least some lowered music from an atmospheric perspective in the bar area and the second point was although the food was great, it was always very posh and expensive. We ordered room service one night and while the food was delicious, it was more fine dining than expected.
